Dr Ismail Reviews

Excellent learning curve

I enjoy working on my current job, and I have learnt a lot from being a receptionist there. From telephone skills, dealing with customers to liasing with medical Aid companies and training my co-workers and my self which was the most challenging part of the job.

Pros: Small business, with only two employees and the third one being my boss
Cons: Limited growth, I will always be a receptionist if I stay here because I can't be the doctor.

Its a moderate job that has its limits more than the perks-

I prefer busy days where we are fully booked and I know in will be running the whole day. its a small company so you get along all of your co-workers, there is just three of us so I don't have to worry about stepping on someone's toes. I have learnt a great deal here, how to work on medi-e-mass, mediswitch app, software and website. I enjoy meeting people from all around the world that come to consult with the doctor. we are situated close to DIRCO so I meet ambassadors too. Most challenging will be the fact that I cant speak or understand Afrikaans, well I am learning and trying now

Pros: small company no pressure
Cons: no growth or promotion opportunities
