Excellent learning curve

its a simple basic retail store the most energy draining activities or things that they don't do is team building activities so the co-workers are not that fond of you or what kind of person you are.

Fast paced, high pressure, customer service driven. However, I'm eager to start my career in SCM.

Good company benefits, and security for all staff at all levels ( as proven throughout this lockdown period. Helpful management, however, I find that certain political prevent the growth of new employees wanting to excel into a new and different department.employees.

Pros: Great benefits and work security/stability
Cons: Long hours, not much assistance toward personal growth.

I learn to do the best customer service as i was interacting with customers everyday.

We had a good relationship me and my co-workers. we were treating each other as a family. I learned customer service and communication skills. interacting with deferent people everyday makes me enjoy the job there.

Pros: The was a great opportinities for grouth.
Cons: I was working normal weekdays hours

Well informed learning curve

- Consulting and giving basic knowledge to customers about different brands and vitamins, herbals, homeopathic and food related questions - Selling products ranging from promotional stock to private brands - Merchandising the stock on the shelves as well as cleaning and routine checks for expired stock

Excellent learning curve

Very good benefits structure Very little red tape in terms of issues being resolved Channels of communication between management and lower level employees need to be more open. This would help employees feel more valued

Good experience

I have learn to master SAP knew how become a good and fair leader... become good with MS Excel...problem solving and accommodate every stuff members professionally and personally

Problem solving

Customers can be difficult and demanding but they are the reason we have jobs. Multi-tasking is required as i need to send spreadsheets daily, manage switch board, help my staff members and handle customer's quiries. Challenges demand strength hence i enjoy learning how to get through the day by learning and being able to put a smile on my face while feeling like exploding. Dealing with spreadsheet helps me delegate and gives me more experiece about computer. Then organising functions once a year for oir customers makes it more easy to understand customers. Every day its a learning day!!

Retail

A typical work day is extremely busy and fast tracked. I get along with all my co-workers, although some of them has a lack of professionalism and work ethic which affects me every so often. I have learnt to have a lot of patience and management skills. The most challenging aspects is having to work very long hours, weekends and public holidays. Retail is exhausting. The lack of professionalism and work ethic of some of my co-workers does impacts me daily, because that is not how I work and that is not how I was thought.
