Diageo Reviews

Excellent learning on a fly and compliance.

Great company to work for which has provided me with opportunities to grow in my supply chain career. Durban is a branch with no real prospects for growth within. I have a great working relationship with my manager, third party provider and customers.

Pros: Flexible working life.
Cons: No real prospects for any further growth in Durban.

Diageo has gone through structural changes that made my job as a data analyst a challenge. I'm happy to discuss this further in person however writing a review on a website will not properly denote the right tone on the matter.

Great experience and introduction to bottling

Great place to learn about bottling and FMCG. I was newly qualified had no experience in bottling working at Diageo has taught me alot about bottling and improved and increased my skills as an artisan. Diageo has wonderful staff working on the factory floor and all have knowledge that can teach you new thing's.

Pros: Lots of incentives
Cons: Not likely to get a permanent position

Good learning curve

working for diageo is a good learnin curve..but there is a lot of traveling whr im expected to use my own money for transport..my basic salary is 3200 nd i spend about 1600 mnthly on transport.my relationship with othr workers is good, i cant complain.the challenging part of the job is having to do many outlets in a day while they all are distant and getting to them requires public taxis

Pros: good chances for a promotion
Cons: too much traveling

Great learning enviroment .

Working for smollan(Diageo)is a great oppurtunity that was given to me to develop myself on a management level .My daily duties and reaching my deadlines and seeing my customers. The relationship i have with my field staff and co workers is of high level (single spirit attitude ).Since i started working with the company i attend several courses to up my skills as manager and leader for my field staff. The most part of my job i enjoy is to work with people and meet new clients and customer and discussing future and present situations. The most challenging in my daily duties is planning my day and achieving my objectives i set myself between admin and field duties basic time keeping.

Pros: good working enviroment
Cons: every weekend working
