Very specialized field, and would never know so much about car production if it wasn't for DESign

I would have never learned so much in any collage or university as I did at this company, the most from other employees. Going and understanding every thing from the start. Detailing, 3d designing, cycle times, process, team leading and layout planning. To all the steps in manufacturing, installation and signoff of jobs.

Pros: Personal knowledge expanded
Cons: All the time away from family and friends.

Continuous skill growth

I love my job, I am constantly learning, gaining more experience and knowledge. I am friendly and social, therefore have a good relationship with majority of colleagues. The management team on the other hand are very difficult. I don’t feel treated fairly or taken seriously. Whether it is gender or age, I feel belittled many of times. I love that I am always busy, there is never a ‘boring’ day.

Excellent learning curve and experience

Day to day i will be measuring automotive tooling with a measuring arm and polly works software Im a millwright at design group qualified with red seal I have really enjoyed working with design and everyone i work with A challenge always was turn around times before shipment and it is my responsibility to have the tooling ready and in working order before shipment date for customer satisfaction

Cons: Not being used to my full potential

Fast learner,hard working,self motivated

Current company that i am working for i am happy. You get your ups and downs in life.My typical work day always busy learning alot in the trade i am currently in also have an good relationship with my co-workers. The most thing that i enjoy about my job is panel building,wire components,field wiring,fault finding exe.The most challenging thing about my job is PLC,fault finding

Pros: it gives you opportunity to explore and experiment new things.
Cons: Working long hours depend on which area they send you to work international.
