Hard work

my day to day work it has routine in it and 70% is un routine as i also do project work and in include me doing various activities. my HR duties is in supervisory level as i supervise and manage myself and making sure my work is on time. i also need to interact with colleagues as I need to observe their daily work activities. I conduct myself with ethical manner and professional. I have learned to work hard and to handle pressure and able to meet deadlines. I learned different behavior from individual and was able to enjoy hard work and pressure. my challenge is working in two different category in HR duties and health projects. I do enjoy my work and love the challenges in it and I wish to go to other departments to gain more work experiences.

I am currently doing two work duties which is handling of a project and HR duties . I am responsible for my work as i don't have anyone supervising me. i conduct myself in an ethical manner. my work needs concentration and able to develop a relationship with staff and their management. i have learned to interact in a professional manner and to conduct myself in an ethical manner. i enjoy work that is challenging and helping me to grow in a working environment.

Occupational Health and Safety including Employee Wellness

Monitoring and managing the Occupational Health and Safety within the institution looking at HIRA, IOD's, medical surveillance of employees, PPE, Disaster Management and Employee Wellness. Employees within the working environment have respect and understanding of the programme and adhere to their appointments and work safe at all times. Good attendance when there is information sharing, orientation and training. I have learned the understanding of different stakeholders within the company/institution including learning different cultures, genders and ethnic groups. I really enjoy talking to people giving information, advices on different topics pertaining to safety and ensuring that they work safely at all times. the most challenging aspects is human resources where you need people but they can't attent your planned projects because there is shortage of staff within their departments.

Pros: The pros of working in this company would be good promotion and good working relations with all employees and other stakeholders. Bringing vast knowledge and change to ensure the company delivers the best service to clients.
Cons: Shortage of saff and long working hours with no remunaration.

Work exposure differences at different department for health

I have obtained lot of experience and established good work ethics and how to conduct myself in the working environment, as i have traveled different department and worked with different type of people

Excellent way to grow in experience

I have been a professional nurse in the depart.of health for 6 years. I am doing Tb and Hiv , chronic care, pmtct,Banc, Sti management and all duties of professional nurse. Im doing advance diploma in occupational health nursing with university of frere state. Im also doing dispensing course with Medunsa.

Pros: Low chances to get promotion
Cons: I have the ability to work independently interdependently because I learnt a lot in the period of working for this department.

How great it was working at the department.

It was nice working at the department of health as I have learned how to work with people how to deal with different situations and different people. I learned to analyze everything situation carefully before concluding anything.

Pros: You love helping people.
Cons: You hate how other people will treat you.

A great environment for a student to experiement

I am a hard worker and very passionate person about my work. I learn fast and dedicated. I am a team player and work well with different people. I am able to talking decisions on my own and solve problems. I work well independently and even under supervision I am a time keeper.

Training of Dr. , during faciltation is big achievement and experience

-receiving and dealing with day to day grievance from employees -approving and authoring work done -Training UMkhanyakude district of government induction programme -manager and supervise hr section -chair disciplinary hearings -do pension claims -exit interviews -Chair Institutional Labour committee

Pros: interaction with all line managers and all spheres of employees
Cons: disciplenary process, grievances, dealing with unions
