Senior Employment Services Practitioner

I deal with recruitment and selection of unemployed and refer them to different employers. Provide them with preparation for interviews and career development. Check day to day work from my subordinates and compile the statistics for people provided with services. Provide employment counselling to differnt people especially youth. Challenging issues, the area that I'm working at is very small and there are economic activities so there is a high rate of unemployment. This cause problems to the community, I was enjoying to work with skills development than recruitment and selection. It was challenging and providing me with new information. I was always engaging with different stakeholders and different institutions which areinvolved with skills development.

Pros: The advantages of working with differnt people especially employers. To be given all the necessary policies and procedures of handling work.
Cons: The disadvantage for doing this job is when you can not provide the unemployed with job opportunities. Tha sometimes can cause a lot of stress

i have learned through a process of honest questioning,objective thinking, constructive criticsm and also learn to submerge difference for achievement of single goal, i learned to align myself with job specification. Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision making. The ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and to choose the most appropriate option. Strong abilities in relationship management, teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment. Recognises co-workers as customers and responds to them accordingly.

Pros: Ability to apply to choose and apply the right mathematical methods, models or formulas to solve a problem.
Cons: Demonstrates an understanding of client needs.

Hard-working with 13years of office Administration.Was leading the frontline and supervises. I am approachable and like to work as a team.I can work under pressure and produce good results.very proffesional and good communication skills.I always meet my deadline and submitt report on time.Have interpersonal skills and negotiations skills.

Good Learning

Im very interested on this post as im having the goverment experience and on private sector and on management level and also knowing the safety of employees on sites guaded by the OHSA and if i can able to get this opportunity I will make sure that you achieve the objective of the company as im doing with the current employer.

Pros: Dairly work is to conduct inspections,monitoring complience in the different company guaded by this OHSA legislation.
Cons: Folloup notices that has been issued after 60 days.

Good team player

My field of specialization is Human Resource Management; I have completed my Human Resource Management National Diploma at Mangosuthu University of Technology in 2009 and currently doing my B-Tech Degree: Human Resource Management at Durban University of Technology. I have been in the field of work rendering services since April 2010 in different departments private and public sectors. I am a young dedicated, self driven, motivated person who is always struggling to achieve and learn more in the workplace. Since I have started being in the working environment I have achieved more knowledge and skills in customer care skills, embracing cultural diversity since we handling clients from different backgrounds.

Pros: Embracing cultural diversity, working with all kinds of people
Cons: Less chances of developing staff, not much training provided for staff

Team worker, prepeared to learn more, Hard worker

I have worked at supply chain for 8 to 10 years.I started at Demand section and moved to logistic . Currectly i am at contract management. i Monitor all the contracts signed with the department. Compliance and see that they are paid accordingly.

Pros: hard worker
Cons: i dont understant the meaning of cons

Administration of the organization, management of finance and engineers.

- preparations for meetings like the drafting of agendas. - preparations and consolidation of documents. _ setting of meeting notices _checking of invoices and authorizing for payments meeting the 30 day payment rule. _checking the availability of funds for procurement of goods and services _administration of the learner engineers like assisting them with the provision of their bursaries, purchase of study materials, etc _ have a very strong relationships with my co_workers from chief director to the lowest rank in the organization. _ complex implementation of the learner engineers policy. _diversity of leadership and supervisors _ the most challenging of the job is the Meeting of the Board when taking the minutes.

Pros: _ performance reviews with the supervisor
Cons: _ no challenges in working for long hours.

Monitor and assess performance, hence managed to achieve desired objectives of the Department. competitive industry with excellent policies and laws protecting vulnerable workers, provides compensation to unemployed and injured beneficiaries. Further assist work seekers to be absorbed by labour market by managing and providing employment services free of charge.

Pros: Great opportunity for obtaining competitive skills.
Cons: No opportunity for promotion.

Very assertive ,attention to detail.Iam a very hardworking person.

My work is very interesting because I interact with different kinds of stakeholders with matters relating labour legislations. My relationship with my co-workers is very healthy and positive towards achieving the objectives of the organisation. I have learnt to be more productive at work,computor skills and customer relations management and Samtrac. I enjoy the whole thing about my job,because we make sure that at the end of the day parties are happy about our intervention where there was misunderstanding. The most challenging aspects about my job is none that I know of at the moment
