Learning is Good
I have an excellent knowledge of working with tenders and suppliers and I always try to build a good relationship with my co-workers as a result we always help each other when ever there is a need. I have learnt so may things from this job like on how to deal with difficult suppliers or clients, how handle work load and how to resolve conflict between co-workers. Although sometimes difficult to work with people but I enjoy working suppliers like to handle their complaints and to inform them about any changes in the procurement process. The most challenging aspect of my job it's when there are changes in the work its self and there is no proper communication about the new changes or there is no training given and even our regional office clear on what to do. Another challenge is when the opportunity for training is given to certain individuals those who are favoured by the superiors.

Learning daily
Challenging work that needs teamwork. Learn new things daily if willing to. It can be hectic sometimes when it comes to service terminations because all cases are unique. Need to be always sober minded and vigilant when checking or controlling service termination cases since they involve money due to or by an official. Quite interesting sometimes since I also deal with family members in some cases. I love my work since it keeps me on my toes and abreast with HR policies and procedures. I have learnt that in every challenge there is a solution and the fact that experience is the best teacher. What I enjoy is when a challenging job has been successfully done and when someone comes back and say thank you, I feel on top of the game. In the work environment you practice what you preach. I enjoy coaching and inspiring my co-workers to see them developing and becoming more productive

Great foundation to start my carrier
working at Correctional requires you to be streetwise and book smart as at times you interact and work with various community poeple and offenders. you must emotional stable as you offer indirect rehabilitation to offenders. Correctional Services is a environment consisting with graduates of virous fields which will enable one to learn and develop on a daily basis. i have a sound and proffesional relationship whith my colegues and we share respect to each other. i enjoy working there but i fil its now time to learn and de develop myself further through experiencing a new environment

Great learning curve
It was a greater learning curve. Learned to come under pressure in an aggressive and tense environment. Had a good relationship with my fellow colleagues.

Good and safe working environment
The HR Development Office that I worked in deal with ensuring successful execution of tasks through training of officials. There's a excellent relationships between sectors which ensures the work flow is achieved. Working at the HR Development Office equipped me with necessary skills that are required to carry out tasks involving the development of employees. And Accommodation of new joining employees. The job enables me to explore the work place in a adaptable perspective. The workload has always been the challenge but the effective way to manage it makes it all easy. Dealing with employees sometimes can be a hard tasks since it's our duty to make them feel Wellcome and to enroll the tasks of the following day.
