I am a hard worker willingly to learn, challenges equipped me to excellence, I don't wait for due date to deliver, but immediately I'm given task I perform it and be ready for the next. I'm able to work in team, good listener, react calm toward aggressive clients, respecting everyone as i respect myself. Prepare to go extra mile if targets must be reached on time. Good communication is my key.

Great exposure for learning

Big great company to work at, friendly and helpful stuff members. I have learnt a lot technical skills, interpersonal skills, working under pressure and safely and time management just to mention a few. I enjoy working mostly on snags/ doing fault finding. Most challenging aspects would be awaiting of parts at times.

Pros: Acquiring good technical skills
Cons: No future job opportunities

Excellent in meeting deadlines

*installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. *Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests Providing technical support across the company ( in person or over the phone). *Setting up accounts for new users Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary. *Testing new technology.

Pros: working at denel was the greatest opportunity for me.
Cons: working hour : 07:30 till 05:00

Excellent learning curve

moderate to very busy days good working relationships learnings differ from public to private to public/private sectors. you can apply yourself more on the work that you do that follow a prescribed working method. when applying yourself does it make sense or is it relevant to the sector.

Pros: average opportunity for promotion

Experienced AME

I am an experienced AME. I am hard-working, loyal and have a great passion for aviation. I get along with co-workers. I am a team player. The most challenging part of my job is not having all resources needed to complete tasks available to me. I have been afforded many opportunities to better myself. I enjoy spending time with my family.

A great learning curve

Team work is important, therefore we always have each other's back. I have learnt to have patience, because of apprentice and junior technicians in training. most of all I have learnt to have the customer in mind, my inspection must be in the mind of a customer. Our environment gives us an opportunity to make technical decisions related to our work, no need to run to supervisor unless really necessary. It's a high pressure environment and the working standard that one need to adhere to.

Excellent exposure and learning opportunities

As a maintenance organisation, Denel Aviation is a great place and offers great opportunities when there is a modification to aircraft etc. However such opportunities are less on design and engineering which is what young engineers are keen on.

My work knowledge

I have been working in aviation for over five years. I have both technical and office experience and capabilities. The fun part about my job is that I enjoy what I'm doing, and I'm always ready for a new challenge. There is nothing I find difficult about my job, because we learn everyday.

Cons: not sure about the future existance of the company
