Great Opportunity to learn about corporate culture, dynamics in the work place.
-A typical work day is where I do process re-engineering for a specific department or make changes to current processes. -I had a great working relationship with my colleagues and clients. -I have learnt that adapting to change and disruptions happening around you is key. -What I enjoyed the most is: Engaging with different SME's and seeing their perspective on different topics and industries. -The most challenging aspect of the job is dealing with a difficult client or stakeholder.

Cons: Limited exposure to technical side of operations.

Good challenging work
i work in a property business, i am a hard worker and am able to work under pressure due to being a credit controller requires a skill of multi task and even work extra hours. i enjoy working with people and solving day to day problems and being firm towards them. Dealing with difficult clients is challenging but having the knowledge about the company really helps a lot.
Pros: good opportunity for upgrading yourself

Excellent Learning Curve

Excellent leaening curve in the corporate business world
Working as a financial clerk intern at Deloitte was quite a life time opportunity that I never saw coming, since it was my first time at a working environment it took me few days to settle and once that happened i wished for my internship to never come to an end because i got attached to my co-workers and challenging day to day activities.
Pros: great learning curve
Cons: it was fixed contract with no possible extension

Systematic discrimination
Environment is too dependent on people relationships. Has great opportunities for growth and exposure if you can access them. Corporate culture has is not inclusive and there is little transformation. Very little close to none presence of equity employees in senior positions.

Ensuring progress in the mining and other industries
I I assiI work in Technical Advisory in a management consulting firm. My role is assisting in the technical review of mining projects. On a typical day I review excel financial models for mathematical accuracy, as well as against project specifications according to the information provided. Because I work in a large firm, I'm also exposed to industries outside the mining industry. I recently assisted with a telecommunications client, where I built a digital maturity assessment model the client would use going forward in order to assess their progress in achieving digital maturity
