Excellent learning field

working for damelin college is quite exciting because it helps in improving communication skills, this needs a very patient character and a good listener. and working with a team helps grow knowledge and have an open mind, for me everyday is a challenge and i take it as it comes. preparing your emotions works best because you deal with every response you get from prospects. the challenge is separating work and social life you cant talk to prospects while in a bad space that could give bad energy for the presentation and not make sales. . considering also the product knowledge it is important to approach clients if you know your products or services because you are able to convince them to buy or use your products and easy to answer any questions they may have concerning your products. knowing the right market is also helpful you approach the right people, within the correct segment

Pros: great opportunities and promotion
Cons: 8 hours and extra when necessary

Hard working and willing to learn and I am a good team worker

I have never worked for a company before but I have sold and marketed products. My ideal work environment is to work in a team for the growth and development of the company. In such environment I should be able to work well with my colleagues motivating one another. I would find it challenging to work with people who are lazy and who don't respect authority

Pros: Growth and development and motivation
Cons: Working with difficult people

Great working environment

Time management is required. We have a small sales and marketing team dealing with matriculants as well as corporate clients to ensure that they find our campus the best campus. I have learnt how to communicate with the corporate sector to ensure that corporate deals is made. I have learnt how to work with both the CRM and ICAS system, team work and individual as well. Marketing strategy and presentations. I enjoy working with the students as I am part of the student advisory committee. I wont say that there is any challenging aspects, because I love challenges. The only thing I can say is that it is a lot of work.

Pros: Can make a lot of commission
Cons: Basic salary is not enough

Adequate learning facility

As a student at Damelin college who had the pleasure of studying at two of their campuses, this a personal account of what it is like to study there. We had a small number of students, which can only be anything but good for Damelin’s sake. First year my class had eleven students but by the time I graduated there was only seven. Due to COVID regulations we had to switch to online classes which was a welcomed option. I would wake up at 08:00 and prepare for online classes which started at 09:00 followed by another at 11:00 and sometimes even a third at 13:00. Online submissions were a breeze and on top of that we had bi-weekly on site lectures. Overall they adapted very quickly to COVID regulations following national lockdown and ensured that learning ensued. The staff at Damelin college in my regard get an A for effort. I don’t recall ever feeling slighted by them. Not to mention they have they loveliest receptionist.

Pros: Online learning
Cons: Limited students
