A good company to work for, just wish that the country took on the company values as seriously and actively as the Australians do (this is an Australian born company) as they live eat and breathe the company values.

Best learning experience in a mega business

Work 12 hours a day Everyone is always friendly and helpful Develop best sales assistance, filling documents,understanding of the computer systems and how it works. Sales assistance getting to talk to customers and convince them to buy products in a polite and honest manner. Most challenges often occurs when targets are not achieved and the KPI not looking good.

Was part time employment

Working at cotton on is great during peak season which is during festive season where there are alot of people on holiday. That's when you truly are able to see yourself if you do not crack under pressure and that you work well with others as its always busy in the store. Managers are very open and approachable, the perks there are alo the staff discount you get even as a casual.

Excellent One on One Client management learning place

We deal with inventory Stock take Cashier Greeting/Welcoming Telephone Inquiries One on One Sales Up-selling Computer literate tasks Tasks are broad , One could be learning a new thing from a task one is already familiar with everyday. Reconciling Statements for the day are always tricky as we need to look to overcome cons of the previous day everyday.

A bit of me and my development!

I'm eager to always learning, extremely inquisitive! Am a fast learner and always wanting to learn a step ahead if where I am. Was given the opportunity to be the field / area visual merchandiser for the entire Cape town region(was in charge of the 5 stores of factorie). This all while a sales assistant, part time student and then key holder for the second biggest store in the western Cape. When that ended I was given the chance to move to another store at the assistant store manager. I'm a team player and started early in my career with helping out at the flagship store, even having the opportunity to open and run the shift independently there all while being a sales assistant. I love to help and am sometimes, a bit too loyal!

Excellent learning curve

Relationship with colleagues was very good and we worked in teams in order to achieve our daily goals. I've learned that hey there is a lot of things you can achieve if you are dedicated to it and if you know your purpose.

Good experience

The current company I'm at is more sale driven very fast pace environment, Having to open boxes ,assist Customers and making sure everyone is doing the right thing. Lessons learnt is that you always have to make sure you make the most of every customer that walks in your store and give them a welcoming experience.Having to deal with the fact that you need to make budget everyday keeping thw customers safisfied with your service is quite challenging.
