Working for Coronation Fund Managers is a journey of learning

Working at my present company has been an eye opening experience into the corporate world. I have had the opportunity to gain invaluable financial savvy and have obtained a BCom degree during my tenure. Employees are left to get on with their work and to run the business as if it is your own.

Pros: Great opportunity for further education and continuous learning on the job
Cons: There is no further career growth in KZN, as this is a satellite branch with three employees.

Excellent company to get your foot in the door in the asset management industry

As a Client Service Consultant, I am a front line representative to our retail clients and handle queries relating to investments in the unit trust, retirements and life product streams. This is an exciting entry into the world of investments and offers the opportunity to make a valuable impact to our clients and build strong relationships. We are essentially the face to the company whereby we are required to handle all emails, calls and walk in clients.

Pros: great self-growth opportunity
Cons: limited to not giving financial advice
