Continental tyre S.A Reviews

Skilled trade as a fully qualified tyre builder

challenging to achieve the production target for the day manually and automatic operating machines. House keeping and safety measures. To be cautious and alert at all time. The most exciting and challenging of the job are when we must work as a team ( in one shift) to reach the production target for the week without any scrap tyres, so that our reward bonus can be paid to every team member. The first stage builder, second stage builder and quality control with 3 builders were in on team per shift with the co-ordinator and shift manager. Good understanding and communication are excellent as to be the best in the company we stand in for each other. Learning curve is to be high disciplined , work on your own without supervision, and to be a perfectionist.

Pros: progress and growth in a company
Cons: 12 hours shifts

Great exposure to the whole process of maintenance.

Continental is a fantastic company to work except for that to balance a family life with work is kinda difficult since the company operates 7days a week*there's a great opportunity to greatly grow if one is looking to focus their career in production the only downside is that there's minimum grow opportunity for engineering employees within the company (engineering maintenance employees tend to be overlooked at when it comes to promotions)other than that it's great company to work for.

Pros: learning rubber industry
Cons: Working 7days a week
