My career spans over 29 years in the electrical HV Industry. At Ethekwini Electricity I successfully completed a number of different Projects (+ 30 projects), these included green-field projects such as 132/11kV Substations as well as brown-field upgrades. I now perform a similar function with my current company - Conco.

Great learning and getting experience

My typical work day would start by me focusing on what I'm here for, planning my day accordingly. I am a typical Germini who is a fast learner and hard worker. I work better under pressure and enjoy meeting new people. I am very professional and I give 100% in all i do. I enjoy learning new things and being challenged in many way. I do not entertain office politics, I try so much to avoid them. I am a friendly person who gets along with people at work.

Pros: Working hard
Cons: I do not have a problem working long hours until my work is done on time.

Fast paced

Lovely company. Very fast paced but very organised. Loved working here. They really look after there employees. The work environmemt is friendly and everyone is willing to lend a hand

I have ND in Electrical engineering, 2 years expirience at consulting and construction company. I am busy with my btech in electrical engineering at unisa. I am willing to work overtime. I can work with drawing and still can do it.

Pros: working accurate, deadlines work to be done

Excellent in working as individual and even as a team because I'm a good participant.

Dealing with installing the power line from the power stations of 400KV lines, and also dealing with the problem encountered when passing by the villages as community need Tobe compensated for their farms.

Learned how to do reports very good at excel

I'm a hard worker, I do what is expected from me i work alot with excel, reports is is my main focus at work and helping out with office administation.

Good learning curve.

the company is good. it gives everyone opportunity to learn. the management are open to any problems and they are as well open for am suggestions brought by everyone in the organization. employees are developed in the company. I have good working relationship with everyone within the organization. the work environment is very good.

Pros: i have been promoted and be given oppotunity to handle big projects on my own
