Excellent learning

Do daily plant inspection and preventative maintenance on pumps , bearings , drives , gearboxes, cooling system and hydraulics and pneumatics. I got good communication skill with colleagues

Pros: Great opportunity for developing my knowledge as an fitter
Cons: Reasonable working hours.

Learns really fast, fully concentrated.

Good company, good experience, great people. Gives you a chance. Helps you with learning. People show interest in teaching u. A stainless steel company with a lot of things to learn from, like plc, hydraulic ect

Have a space of growth and ways Adhere always to SHE procedures

Shift millwright,attend to breakdowns electrical and mechanical.do preventative maintenance,do job cards..work extra hours when needed,always adhere to SHE and company policies.Hard worker willing to go the extra mile when needed,Safety as my way of life at work and off duty

Good company to work for. Good Learning opportunity as a Metallurgist

My typical day at work involves running morning reports for management, and keeping Improvement scores by using the excellence plan at I have learnt to work as a team an also how to appeal to different corporate structures across the company I enjoy the technical part of the job The most challenging aspect of my job is how to work with different departments, in terms of driving improvement

It is a great place to get training and exerience

At the company you get exposed to a variety of skills and people. The plant will teach you alot of mechanical job on pumps, motors, moving lines, big cranesand small ones. Electrical jobs too from designing panels, modifying them fault finding. You will also get a feel of instrumentation with the crane drives such asa ABB, MH AUTOMATION, Ac10. Co workers are decent to work with as we all share the knowledge we have together.

Gained more knowledge on exporting procedures

As an export administrator I load orders when accepted I create shipping instructions and loading instructions, request bookings from shipping company, handle queries, do documents as per customers request and making sure material reaches destination. We work as a team everyone knows the daily duties Incase someone is off the work does stop. Very busy department that requires accuracy , working independent under a lot of pressure. I have gain a detailed knowledge on how to export items , rules and regulations pertaining to it. I enjoy the different challenges I experienced cause that made me more passionate to learn and it made me look forward to another day.

Columbus review

The company I work for is good with offering good skills for both technician and management,The company fully exposed me to the career .The day to day operations as technician are normal,we do standbys and shifts .The most challenging aspect about the job is the complex problems we experience day to day due to different integrated system
