Managing various portfolios on He matters

I am a driven hard working individual with over 13 years experience in the HR field. I play a generalist role in my current job ranging from performance management, IR issues, disciplinary hearings,recruitment and selection,job grading, writing of policies and procedures,employment equity reporting,induction and training. Great team dynamic work well with all, challenges I deal with different scenarios everyday at work when coming to HR matters. I have learnt to be objective rather than subjective.

Excellent learning opportunity

City property is an excellent company, it has taught me a lot of work skill. In an ordinary day, I dealt with with alot of tenants, and parking contracts. I learned that works had to be very accurate especially when it came to contracts and the terms, I have also learned to give an exceptional customer service. The team work was also great My biggest challenge was the becoming a permanent employee as I was only a temp.

Excellent learning curve if given a chance

I started as a receptionist in 2008 got promoted to mend the information desk for a year . got promoted to be a Customer Service Consultant in 2015 got promoted to be the Banking Hall Supervisor. there is growth within the company . if you work hard show passion and an eagerness to grow if you meet the requirements you do get a chance to prove your abilities.working with people it's kind of challenging at times you have to put your emotions aside at the same time try to understand the person's challenges and try to deliver the best service ever. I am a team player I worked with different departments for different reasons and my working relationship was tremendously great .

Excellent learning curve

Working at City Property it has granted be a great practical exposure in the admin and support field. The strengths that I posses : Motivator,Good planner ,organised and a good problem solver.

Learning curve

The work is not challenging for me.it's a job that requires patient as you are working with clients. But its easy when you are a social person and you can deliver what's requested of you.

My current job assesment and remuneration and working conditions

my day includes unpaid weekends and after hours and includes supervising writing job specs for contractors and also sometimes guiding other colleagues as well as doing some contractors work like painting which was challenging as it was outside my job description

Pros: accommodation is provided onsite
Cons: no off duty unless on leave
