Great diverse experience

Working for City power was a great experience for me because my department allowed me to grow and learn other skills (hands on) from other department. I got to meet with many different customers querying with various problems. My problem solving skills improved. My relationship with my co workers is excellent because we always worked as a team and this produced great results for our department by meeting the target. I have learnt to listen attentively and paraphrase and then apply my problem solving skills to address customer's problem.

I'm selfstarter person go getter and good communication skills

I'm Denis Xolani Mbambo I'm working at city power for eight years. I was acting as a supervisor for year two months. I'm good in communication skills and I have nine years experience in the electrical engineering. I'm self motivated person will to learn more and new things in my work

Pros: I'm working in metering department in maintance of the meters
Cons: 12 hours shift and I was doing standbys before 16 hours work

Excellent PABX Experience

City Power is one of those companies that one feels like he/she is at home by the way they associate with other colleagues. I personally salute them for the assistance they showed me in terms of growth in my PABX experiences. I love IT and City Power helped me a lot to see myself being hands on on IT devices especially the PABX and Network cabling, I did enjoy to work within those aspects.

Hardworker, punctual, willing to learn new things

I worked t City power Johannesburg as student under training for for electrical engineering Technician and I'm flexible willingly to work as team or individual. I worked at city power by following protocol of the company.

Excellent learning curve

Uploading meter readings in time for accurate billing,updating new meter information,query resolution,coordinating Make It Count project and administration. Work well with others and results driven,proactive and willing to learn and share information,accountability and transparency throughout my work.I enjoyed the challenges presented to me and took them as opportunities. Learned that I can work well under pressure and very articulate and that I have an eye for detail.

Hardworking, very dedicated person,fast learner.

i work overtime i like to work under pressure preferably with group so i can be a leader and learn from other peoples mistake. working with people it helps me to grow and also have different ideas which i look from others so to be able to grow as a individual . im the person who enjoys learning new things and see the change iv made within the company and how people benefited from me. im the person who doesn't like problems, but im also very fast in solving problem so that people work in the enjoyable environment

I am Electrician

I am Electrician.i was working with motors single phase and three phase and i was working with transformers and i was joining cables both low and medium voltage. i was installing meters and ibwas wiring DB board and i was doing house wiring and i was doing fault finding i the company and i was assisting Electrician with maintenance Lv and Mv

Good

Good work environment however it is a highly political environment and more suitable for individuals who are political active. The colleagues are friendly and able to work as a team. Since the environment is political, working under pressure is an everyday norm.

EXCELLENT EMPLOYEE RELATIONSHIP AND CORPORATING WELL , LEARNT TO WORK ON SAP AND BE FOCUSED

IT IS A GOOD PLACE OF WORK , BUT NO OOPURTUNITIES FOR ME TO GROW AND EXPERIENCE NEW THINGS. THE CO WORKERS DO CORPORATE WITH ME VERY WELL, THE ENVIRONMENT IS GOOD , HEALTHY.
