I work at a library as a e-Library assistant in the ICT department, where my responsibilities include assisting patrons with basic computing, like printing, scanning, emails, research, job and school applications. I am also responsible for conducting educational programmes that assist the patrons with ICT skills that help them understand computers and technology better, programmes like writing a more professional CV, opening an email sending and recieving emails and computer games for kids. My relationship with colleasges is great I believe. I learned how to work with people, patience and how to communicate with different people. I enjoy meeting new different people and the different lessons each individual comes with. the lack of equipment which leads to frustated customers who are unhappy with the services provided by the library.

Excellent leaning curve

I believe that I have the necessary skills and abilities for this job. Am organized, resourceful, personable and a fast leaner. Am also influent in four different official languages. i also believe that through hard work,dedication,effectiveness and efficiency are key to productivity and to bring about positive change within the organization, and this post gave me the opportunity to apply with hope that i will be given a chance to show case my best of abilities. Your company excel at customer services, a field I would like to pursue my career to. I am also very eager to become part of the winning team like yours. Joining the organization would give me a chance to develop useful skills that can help me to further my long-term career goals, especially because it has to do with dealing with people, it will help me to improve my inner leadership characteristics and better judgement towards people.

Great learning curve

There were challenges when I first started out but I knew what I wanted and I soldiered on and have learnt a lot since the first time I got here. Being with the City of Ekurhuleni has really groomed me for the better. I am now able to hold my own and continue with work without being told what to do. I know when it's time to escalate issues to senior management. I have learnt what it means to be responsible and accurate as I work with Departmental Capital budget. the most challenging part of my job would be dealing with stakeholders who are unreasonable and service providers who can't deliver on schedule, however that has taught me to be considerate, compassionate, patient meanwhile not forgetting to be professional.

Good learning curve because of reporting straight to Head of department

Working at the municipality environment it was challenge to me because Department I was working on is the engine for the organization you deal with community and employees.

Good learning environment and dealing with different things

Face difficult colleagues, Participants and i have learnt to treat different people according to their behaviour. what i really enjoy is to learn new things and to be shout by participant is the most challenging aspect

Need more experience on top of the skills and experience i have obtained in all the years.

I am a versatile individual who is not afraid of any challenges; I am a person who responds with a can-do attitude and have a strong analytical skill. I am a hands-on person who ensures that work is done by communication and developing a very good understanding relationship. I pay good attention to details and able to work with high accuracy. I pride myself as an initiator and an icebreaker, who has a keen desire to learn and acquire new skills; I am a mature minded and energetic person who has the ability to deal with people at all levels. I have the ability to liaise proactively with management and senior management members. I am able to work with high accuracy without supervision. I am a team player and capable of working independently on my own. Able to quickly grasp concepts and process new information.Good time keeping. I believe that combination of my skills, experience, and knowledge that suits your expectation regarding profile of a Procurement Position.

Hardwork, a great team worker, kind person,willing to work underpressure

am a hard worker, whose willing to work under pressure no matter the situation is, am a great team player and i am a quick learner. i enjoy working around people and i have a good relationship with my fellow co-workers i always put a smile on their faces. even if something didnt sit me well i just pretend as if every thing is okay with me.i make sure that i dont reach the deadline with my job

Good learning experience

After passing my matric in 2014 I looked for a job by just volunteering as an assistant working for a this kind lady whom I helped making copies and doing day to day filing I really loved it because it helped me gain a lot of knowledge of the work environment.

Working with diversely individuals

My work starts with taking care of safety for all people who utilize the theatre. I take the perfomers through the safety procedure in the theatre. Before we are agreed on the performance to take place, we sits in the production meeting where we go through to all technical aspects of the project the client is willing to bring. on the day of the production we make sure that the client should stick to what we have agreed with in the production meeting.

Pros: Exposed to a different working environment
Cons: the dearth of growth.
