Vast learning opportunities

Working as a Programme Coordinator at Comunity AIDS Response involved working in various health facilities in the Ekurhuleni and City of Johannesburg district. Being exposed to these health facilities on a daily basis improved my people skills with facilitators I was supervising as well as clients in health facilities. This further encouraged positive and good working relationships with fellow colleagues. I have acquired a great deal of knowledge with regards to HIV/AIDS and Non-Communicable Diseases as well as programme implementation which I enjoyed as I was implementing the programme on m own from the inception stages right through the very end. I also enjoyed seeing the programme grow popularity and touch the lives of many. It was however challenging to keep my personal emotions aside given the sensitivity of HIV/AIDS.

Cons: Staff shortages

Excellent learning curve

i am a data capture at jeppe street clinic capturing patient file for Art and Tb.i like to work with people from different background. i have a good working relationship with the nurses within the clinic as we work hand in hand to render a beter service to our patients. The most challenging aspects a the job is when data is not captured accurancy for stats.

Pros: great job oppertunity
Cons: not working 21 days a month
