BREVA COMPANY Its very interesting to work as a merchandiser, it has enhanced my negotiating skills. I regularly have to engage with management to assist in placing the product in a reasonable space in order to catch customer's eyes for possible sales. Furthermore retail environment is survival of the fittest,whereby actions are more encouraged in order to increase sales turnover. I enjoyed to analyse and assess weekly sales report. The main challenge was when the product owner insisted on higher sales but not willing to spend money on promotions or adverts.

Pros: Great exposure to retail environment
Cons: Product owner not willing and prepared to spend on brand promotions in order to create awareness.
