Great Experience

i have the opportunity to work closely with hospital CEO as her Assistant. working in the executive assistant has given me the chance to interact with different types of personalities and being i a field that requires to fast on your feet and very organised, interact with the community at a professional level, i've been able to learn to take minutes at meetings in different forms, learn phone etiquette,set up meetings and plan the CEO's work plan and diary. Most challenging aspects was learning to do claims and learning on the go hence with any assistance, coping with long hours of work and sometimes very difficult complainants. the overall experience has been quite positive and hoping to learn more and hopefully be employed before my internship ends.

Pros: learning new things everyday
Cons: no progression,chance of being hired

Challenges and opportunities

Relationship with colleagues... working under pressure without any permanent staff's assistance... doing work that is not relevant to my log book... working at the chapel with old files inside a dirty room that is used to be patients ward in winter with no hearter. Dealing with permant staff bad attitudes. Not learning, doing the same thing everyday, i also worked as personal assistance where i learned alot at a short period of time. I was amazing and i challenging as well.

Pros: Learned to haddle pressure and difference attitudes of employees
Cons: Working on something that you dont know without any help

Techniques and quality principles

Able to adapt under stressful environment. Developing coping mechanism together with team. Developing strategies that can bring effective and efficiency to overcome any challenges that we normally face. I am able to communicate effective and resolve unclear messages and misunderstanding amongst ourselves. Able to perfom take exceptional and also able to meet set target and deadline. Able to work long hours and unscheduled. Able to adapt and cope during change management or proposal of new activities.

Cons: Able to adapt under diverse environment
