I’m 30 Years of age with a BCOM Honours Degree. I am Multi-skilled majoring in the fields of Information systems, Business Management and Maritime Shipping. I have 7 years experience working in the sales and Information systems & technology field. Excellent company.
Excellent company to work for and you gain a lot of experience and exposure by being involved in various projects in and out of South Africa. There is diversity in culture and religion and everyone respects each other. The senior management are very professional and take time to interact with staff as well as make time to give staff regular updates about any changes happening within the group.

Learning about freight costing, the incorterms, the international trading standard like the NRCS
Enjoy having a clear understanding about clients current state, knowing their frustrations and pain points. Based on that feedback, I'm a better position to offer them a comprehensive solution. I also enjoy dong my own estimates based on the rates that I've reposed to clients. I also involve the controller with plannings and ensure that I do a proper handover to the Sea/Air/Road controller. This is a high pace industry and you have to make sure are on your toes and you should have an understanding of the international market, trends, news, you have to be updated all the time. However, the most important and critical is to pay attention to details because we are dealing with high value shipments.

Great experience gained
I have many years of experience within a Sales/Retail environment. There has always been a need for me to provide training to staff at multiple levels. For the last 4 yrs I have been in a senior training role,including a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system & TMS (Transport Management System).

Good
well organised , housekeeping loading trucks and containers in the yard. Relationship with co-workers is everyone has its own task to finish but working as a team also give me a good experience on how to get ideas of the company. learnt how to work as a team in the warehouse and how to solve problems as a team in the warehouse and respect one another as we work. I enjoyed this job cause it gives me the challenge of the warehouse and the effort that i must perform as in the team as to reach the target that is set in the warehouse team.
