GREAT ENTRY LEVEL

IT IS PRODUCTIVE AND EASY BECAUSE U DONT GO OUT LOOKING FOR CUSTOMER INSTEAD THEY COME TO YOU. THE HOURS ARE LONG AS WE WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK WITHOUT OFF DAYS IN BETWEEN.THE WORK RELATIONSHIP IS AMAZING BETWEEN THE WORKERS AS WE GET ALONG VERY WELL , THE EXPERIENCED GAINED IS GREAT AND HAVE LEARNT TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE AND STILL MANTAIN GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF MY JOB IS THE CUSTOMER S, BECAUSE WE DEAL WITH PEOPLE FROM DIFFEERENT COUNTRIES . THE LANGUAGE BARRIER IS SOMETIME A CHALLENGE AS MOST FOREIGN PEOPLE VISTING SOUTH AFRICA ON HOLIDAY CAN T SPEAK ENGLISH AND BEING UNDER STAFFED

Foreing exchange consultant

good day I am currently working for Bidvest bank for 7years. the first 5 years I have been working at our Vat office where I was doing the admin, took in the Vat cheques and was a atm castodiam. for the past 2years I transferred to our mall branch where we do investments, travel insurance, buy and sell foreign currency, telegraphic transferred and much more. working with people I enjoy the most. going the extra mile and to make sure my clients receives excellent service. the most challenging of all is to make sure every client I encounter with is satisfied. kind regards Jade

Great experience and learning oppertunity

I start work @ 8h00 till 17h00 every second weekend i work from 8h30-12h00 i like most of my co workers get along with most of them , always helpful and friendly i have learned a lot from normal day to day banking to corperate forex, everything form bank accounts to estate lates and telegraphic transfers. i loved learning new things and handling difficult queries which just made me stronger. achieving my certificate through the company is an achievement i am proud of.

Pros: low risk based company well known
Cons: to little money for the amount of work and stress , i will work myself to the bone but as long as i am paid accordingly

Excellent working other departments

Good day I am a highly motivated individual, who believes in hard work in order to achieve ones full potential and objectives. People who have worked hard for what they have, but still keep themselves humble motivate me and inspire me to be the best at what I do. I consider my strengths being listening, problem solving and the ability to learn from others, regardless of their age and gender. My definition of one’s weakness is ones psychological breakdown to admitting failure, and passed experiences that might have triggered emotional floors. I believe that it is wise to admit to them, but concentrate on overcoming them through ones strengths. I believe in creating opportunities in the light of darkness, and although the possibilities might be impossible to achieve, trying should always be the intention acknowledged that brings onward experience

as I am in Client service, sometimes I serve difficult client but have to make the client understand the reasons behind why I cant not be able to help at the moment. I work with team players we meet each other half way. if I have something I need clarity on I know my colleagues will be happy to help

Excellent Accounts payable team leader will to take on anything

Hit the ground running. Excellent communication skills. Like a fsmily but keeping boundrirs.. Learnt how to basically to fit in in any area of the finance twam. Chalkenges are when co workers dont work together. But they are learning curves and people personality

Excellent learning curve

Bidvest Bank has one of the best employees I have been. The company culture is on point. Their processes and procedures are well outlined and effectively easy to follow. The environment allows one to learn not only cooperate wise but also helps one to grow skillful wise.

Did learn about FICA documents and how to do credit applications

i try to see about 4 customers a day, get all FICA documents up to trade. assist customers with their import and export payments, assist with business travel arrangements i am a good team player can work under stress and is a selfstarter i like going to visit my customers a they teach me a lot about their business as each company run their businesses a bit different

Excellent learning curve

Lovely place to work, great company culture. Open door policy by management, mentoring opportunities and relationships. Requires dedication and love for the job. Rewards are great and recognition for those who go beyond the call of duty.
