Good working environment with other employees
As an experienced shipping clerk, my tenacious and proactive approach resulted in an improved and less expensive methods for the company. My utmost contribution in my current company has been the implementation of shipment consolidating method in which I managed to convince management to implement in a way of saving shipping costs. My job involves import of shipments around the world both through seafreight and airfreight dealing with freight forwarding and clearing companies. It is a job that requires me to pay close attention to every procedure of getting shipments into South Africa and ultimately into our warehouse. Some of the most important procedures which require my involvement are costing of shipments, payments to freight forwarders, document control and expediting of shipments.

I'm very good in technical challenges and I'm always willing to learn more
My day at work involves making sure the staff is up to date with orders sorting out customer queries,receiving of stock,entering the stock onto the system,planning day visits to customers,after seeing customers I will give the internals to order the stock or invoice stock for delivery for the next day,daily check and iso check lists to be undertaken and sent to the relevant management ,I have learnt a lot while at bearings international the customers become family and I always go the extra mile for them ,I have done many product focus coarses and an avarge of 75/100 %i treat my staff the way you should be treated because we are a team ,I enjoy seeing the smile on a customer when he gets what he needs or when you can deliver on time and always keeping the customer up to date on his orders,the most challenging aspect would be getting OVK and the agri customers to gain the trust in you that was once broken

I am looking for new oppertunities and challenges
work start of at 07H30 an then all the day task begins. Firstly i do all the checking of the stock and receive the stock in. I do the bank of the previous day and sort out all the sales that have been ordered for the next day. Everyday i learn all kind of new things about the stock i am supplying to customers. The thing i enjoy the most of my day is keeping customers happy

I'm currently rotating within the warehouse department.
I hold a National Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain and I'm currently doing my internship with Bearings International (Pty) Ltd. I would describe myself as a person who is really energetic, confidence and hardworking which will be a good trait to be an employee of any organisation. I have interest in Automotive parts industries but I can also work for FMCG companies.
Pros: I do enjoy working for Bearings International because its a great opportunity for me to improve my career path.

Good learning curve
Great satisfaction when contributing to clients paying on time and have a clean book, sorting out queries when need to confirm and invoice orders. Sometimes team work, professional ethic gives a greater edge to do more, I like to think I'm a peoples person. Active on interpersonal skill. Respect co workers and ask for direction especially when I don't understand. I have learned the urgency of attending to queries and resolving, escalation if need be.. Taking responsibility for one's work to do beyond and avoid late payments. allocations brings me enjoyment especially for big clients.. Communicating with clients for advise on credit limit, state of their account. It's challenging when clients don't adhere to payment terms.. Or when there is no direct personnel to go/speak directly regarding orders that needs to be Grv for invoicing to receive payment

Myself i m looking a new work because i need to grow up .i so long time to work at bearings ten year so i need to move on to see some challenge outside and learn more things like my work,and i enjoy to work as a team work and learn the different work in the company outside

Learned to be strong and deal with customers, determine, efficient.
I see myself as a hard-working,honest, efficient, determined person,I'm a fast learner not willing to give up in any circumstances.capturing of high volume invoices on sage x3, dealing with supplier queries, adhoc payments, reconciliation of statements, filing,bbee certificates from suppliers,assisting with documents for auditing

Cons: Feel like you are being exploited cause you are a hardworker helping others when they are upseny but no one helps you when you are not in.

Very different from previous positions held
Working away from home. The one thing i have learned is that you can't trust people just by going on there word. "Can i see it". People who you did not even think whould steel from you can disappoint you. Traveling the country throughout is exciting. To sit in hearings where people have stolen from you is not very enjoyable.
Pros: getting time of for extra time worked
Cons: away from home a lot, but enjoyable.
