Auto Pedigree Reviews

Learning curve

It was great working at Auto Pedigree until they demoted the manager and promoted a Salesperson from another branch. Everything was a competition where groups were formed. It was you either with the manager or the demoted manager. It began to toxic and unhealthy. Before this whole thing we were a family, doing things together, helping each other with deals, help one another to close deals. From time to time we will contru5 monies and have braai to come together so that we know each other at a personal levelrst orking at Auto 3 at

Pros: Chances of promotion were slim but the healthy environment was a key
Cons: We were working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 07:00 to 13:00. Public Holidays from 08:00 to 13:00

Excellent learning curve

My typical day starts with getting to the office at 07:30 and checking my mail and do any administration that i need to. So an hour or two later we'll have a team meeting with the manager and discussing what we'll be doing for the day and how many units we'll be adding. After that be checking the floor for any walk-ins, if there's none I'll start doing cold calls or calls to existing clients. If the branch is quiet I'll normally go out and prospect. I'll always try not to stay to long away from the branch because i always want to load as much applications daily for a better success rate for an approval. Interacting with clients are the best part of my day, giving my utmost in closing a deal and when the deal is closed and the  client takes delivery, its the best feeling ever seeing the brake lights of a vehicle leaving the branch.

Pros: Interacting with clients
Cons: Long working hours

Learning to be a better at the work place.

I am spending most of my day interacting with customers to build , develop and grow clientel base. Most importantly working on reaching set target daily, weekly and monthly. I normally work closely with the line manager, mediating between management and staff as a 2IC. I have learnt how to manage staff in working together producing fruitful results for the company. I've learned on how to develop and motivate team members. Most enjoyed part is when the team is productive and strong team work portrayal. The most challenging aspect is when the team is pulling apart.

Pros: Great growth opportunities and career advancement
Cons: Working reasonable hours and extended it needed.

Excellent people

Great people always willing to help and always friendly, you are always busy which I loved, and you get to learn new working areas of the company as to what the other employees do incase help is needed. Sometimes you are expected to work long hours but you do get compencated for it.

Pros: gives people chance to proof their abilities in their work areas
Cons: salary just a bit to low

Great company with great benefits.

I love my company a lot, but I feel like I need to grow with new adventures and experience. The years and experience I have need to take me to another level, I feel like I am at comfort zone and no new growth and development.

Pros: Trained as a 2ic , so opportunities available need hardworking
Cons: They sometimes make you park company cars if not performing, not a great idea cos car is your selling tool.
