Aurecon is an engineering international consulting company which is in all provinces of South Africa. Aurecon works full-time on Site. • Ensure that procedures and high standard of quality control and supervision are maintained for each contract. • Monitor the renovations, repairs to the existing structures as they continue being built, & also monitoring the whole project as it proceeds. • Observe the construction, contract progress, procedures, workmanship, schedule, overall job safety and amiable coordination between the Contractor, Consultants and Client. • Combine payment Certificate quantities and assist in Payment Certificate. • Act on behalf of the Engineer in respect of the site problems and defects in works under construction. • Using the daily diary provided to record all daily activities including daily progress, weather conditions, nature and location of work performed.

Great Job opportunity

My relationship with my co-workers is great, I am a peoples person and manage a team of 6 people. A typical day at the office well its quite difficult to say because everyday has different challenges. I work well under pressure as this is one of the most challenging aspects of my job. I have learnt so much from working at Aurecon, how to manage people, meeting deadlines before the deadline(if that makes sense) and how to keep everything within budget... Not always easy but possible. I enjoy the pressure, meeting our deadlines, attending meetings and liaising with people whether over the phone or face to face.

Pros: International company always room for growth
Cons: I am on contract and it end 30th September 2017

Excellent

It was an excellent experience to be working at Aurecon but my problem was my work depended on projects being awarded to Aurecon by government department without them I had no work since all admin positions already had people employed.

Pros: To be project assistant on bigger projects
Cons: Tenders not received

Architectural drawings

I am hardworking and friendly. I have learnt to work within group is best to know some of other challenges. I enjoy socializing after hours especially during the work events. Challenges is when you dont get enough information about the project/ work you have to perform on.

Pros: Facing new challenges
Cons: I reach targets
