Learning opportunity
I have had an excellent opportunity , to learn how to trade in the bottom end of the market , ie Spaza shops , hawker tables , taxi ranks , etc , which is not afforded to many people.

Stressful work environment
The work is a lot. Its very difficult to complete tasks as requests come in a lot and everything is regarded as urgent. Some co-workers are nice and good to be around . I have learnt a lot in my role and I have been challenged a lot more than I have in any role I've done. I've enjoyed the brand management part of the job as well as doing research and getting in touch with the consumer. The most challenging aspect was everything always being urgent so being under pressure all the time. The work is a lot. Its very difficult to complete tasks as requests come in a lot and everything is regarded as urgent. Some co-workers are nice and good to be around and some just exude negative energy. I have learnt a lot in my role and I have been challenged a lot more than I have in any role I've done. I've enjoyed doing research and getting in touch with the consumer. The most challenging aspect was not having enough work/life balance and everything always being urgent so being under pressure all the time.

Bad working conditions
I work nicely with my co workers I’m more of a team player. Working at my company isn’t nice because everyday is a challenge of trying to survive. Management makes things empires every day and the is no girth

Working at Aldor Africa is challenging but you get to get used to it.
Working at Aldor Africa is challenging but you get to get used to it. With long hours and fast pace since it is an FMCG it require you to be broad and to have a large range of skill set to keep up with the pace of the company which helps me to learn as a graduate. I have a good relationship with almost everyone from my colleagues to work floor staff.
Pros: There is variety of room for self improvement and learning new stuff. Challenges makes a person grow and it is What is needed for a graduate
Cons: Lack support, Have to learn everything by myself without any assistance, from processes to ways of improvements.

Perfect place to learn
Respect and communication are the most important aspect when working at such a multicultural company. Dispute the age we got to treat each with respect and create a friendly environment amongst employees.team work is also important as it helps with productivity.

Now a small company Limited broader category exposure No promotional opportunity Small Family owned business. No chance of equity/shares Investment limitations. Results in slow expansion rate to enhance broader category participation
