Learning new systems and processes

A very engertic company with open door policy. Working times are flexible. Learning is encouraged. Mature relationships with Co workers and management, easy to talk to and ask for assistance. I've learnt new ways of dealing with suppliers.

They try to fit in the corporate environment.

There is always pressure to work efficiently otherwise you will be disciplined and then shown the door if there's no improvement. The pressure is too much. Thr book value of accounts is a t but then the predsure is to do your best to work throug all those accounts before monthvend. When staf rsigns they take forever tobreplace them so its work work work the wwhole day to try and achieve your goas & targets set so thar you can maybe qualify for an incentive. Majority of employees are black and I winder why. Whites are all in management positions.

Pros: its just okay because you do have a job
Cons: there is no opportunity to grow. they always hirevpeople from outside the company in my department. when you work in residential accounts they should groom staff to work in commercial.

Excellent learner

I've been working closely with the investigators in cases that were logged in order to find the solution. I've never taken my job for granted. I understand how much pressure it can be. However the success of working together over the years have build much trust in the .relationship of the staff and our customers. Each job has its challenges. It has been tough for some of the staff members since we not working with the machines and working with people.

Pros: Promoted to the senior QA/Trainer
Cons: worked over time & long hours when dealing with the case

High customer focus

Typical day: dealing and resolving customer complaints, approving transactions, allocating tasks to team to meet monthly collection targets, attending and facilitating Debtors review meetings, performance management of staff and initiating the disciplinary process where necessary.

Pros: Customer retention
Cons: Long working hours

Customer relations

My company is very big. At my department we deal a lot with clients and it's a same routine everyday. We work as a team and take each other more like brothers and sisters. I take each day as it comes and I never worry when I sit at the back of my desk, coz i know what is expected of me. Multitasking is part of my job and as this can be challenging sometimes, a day get by and managers are happy with results.

Cons: Working long hours
