Excellent empowerment for youth in leadership and service

On daily basis I interact with the youth living on the street. I give them counselling and also provide them with usefull information to remove themselves from the situation that they in right now. I do advocacy campaigns in school to encourage the kids who are still in school that it better to stay at school and working towards a brighter future than wasting your life on the streets. I also integrate the offenders back to their homes and to society and also working with them to make sure that they do not re-offend.I work very well with my collegues as well as other stake holders. I enjoy spending time with my programme participants at work and I have learned to live like a leader and not to judge people. The most challenging aspect of my job is trying to get people who lives on the street to commit themselves on working towards stopping drugs.

Pros: great opportunity for growth
Cons: unlimited working hours
