• Manage supplier metrics and SLA’s. • Ensure quality and integrity of release documentation. • Implement cost saving initiatives. • Resolve incidents according to service level agreements. • Develop and submit reports on service desk performance. • Plan, organise, lead and control subordinate's activities to ensure sub-functional objectives are met or exceeded. • Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, guidelines, policies and procedures. • Share customer-related knowledge, formally and informally, to enhance IT understanding of the company’s Business and how technology products and services can potentially add value from a customer's perspective. • Perform secondary interface to clients on escalated issues and provide status of issue enquiries, updates and resolutions. • Ensure that the Service Desk (SD) operates in a professional, effective and efficient manner.

Excelent learning curve
A typical day at work is very busy as we have a high volume of calls on a daily basis..i have an good relationship with my co workers as i believe team work is very important and essential .. i belive we should help one another to grow ..what i have learned at vodacom is that customers are very important and that its more than just giving customer service is about connecting with your customer and making them feel safe and at home.. The most challenging aspect of this job is the long working hours with no transport provided so one is always putting their lives at risk to get home

Excellent experience gained
a typical work day for me basically is coming to work with a positive mind set knowing what is expected of me today. I love working with people not only do i enjoy being in the company of customers but as well as my co-workers, rather not co-workers but famliy. i have a lot since i have started as a sales consultant, what i have learnt the most is how to control my emotions in certain situations. and also how to go about dealing with difficult customers. The feeling of a sales coming on just gives me an adrenaline rush, reason why i love sales is because everyday you get to do something better. most challenging aspects of the job is , competition, everybody wants to be on top, and this is where greed comes in , and jealousy

Good customer services
Enjoy working with customer because i personally learn and interact with both colleagues, customers and management. So that makes me to grow on a daily basis. The most important part is to take my customer as my employer and tried to resolve any querie that brought to my attention and put my self in their shoes and make it a point that the administrative side is clean and easy to submit to any superior that will look for it. Customer services is the key in the field that i am working

Implemented projects to client. third party suppliers and work with the Africa units in the respective African Countries as well as South Africa meetings mailing quality checks and working overtime when necessary

am a 29 year old ambitious male who is prepared to achieve the desired goal of the job description.
