I have learn a lot and I know better.

I am a very quick learner and a know that I can do it , I have worked under a very serious pressure and I've learned souch that I even decided to take what I have learned to the next level. My job description was to serve customers , most of the time I will be Merchandising, doing banking,conducting meetings , controlling stock from the stock room to the floor or even to receive it and also to be in charge of the store when the manager is off.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn even more
Cons: Shortages off hours when it's busy

Truworths is company that is always willing to grow their employers in all ways possible.

I work at a Truworths that is in a mall. The working hours are from 8 to 7, mainly there is shifts. 8 to 5 and 10 to 7. My relationship with the workers is quite a good and fruitful one, there is a different age group when it comes to the staff and one learns alot from the different departments as well. The company promotes different ways to empower and grow their staff as initiatives such as Ace it helps workers to work hard and later get rewarded. What I have learnt is that is the work ethics of a company and how important that they are applied in the correct way it brings discipline. The challenges however is dealing with difficult customers in different days and applying the rule that the customer is always right, which technically that is not always the case, but better yet serving customers with your best abilities and serving right to the company.

Pros: Manuals are given to employers to enable themselves to learn more about higher levels in the company such as getting promoted.
Cons: Long hours working 8am to 7pm. And no weekend offs

Job role

I work mostly in generic and admin work...dispatching and receiving stock... Work as a supervisor and work towards reaching targets... Work from 7.30 to 16.30 Monday to friday then 8.00 to 13.00 saturday We do merchandising of stock House keeping Sales Trainings every wednesday and friday Work at the cash desk and sales floor

Cons: Long hour not enough rest

Maintaining the companies image

The company that am working at it was my first job and I loved it because I learnt lot of things like rendering good customer services,working in team work,being punctual in time and also keep the standard of the company maintained cause am the face of the company. I've also learned how to push sales by helping a customer on how to match their clothing for the certain event they going to attend. I've learned how to build a strong team work and I also contribute points in situations that needs to be sorted.The most challenging thing I've ever learnt is to know how to handle angry customers whenever they querying things they didn't like

I am able to multitask

I am such a hardworking individual who is more willing to learn new things and I have a good working relationship with my coworkers..I learnt so much from the business and there are manuals that I've been certified with by the business... And I really enjoy being part of this business as it has grown me so much... Like any other business one of the challenges we come across is stock loss but I've never been beyond the company benchmark.

Good

Being part of truworths employees has thought me I a lot of of things. I work with a friendly group of people that I always learn new things from them. We work as a team to ensure that our customers receive a very good customer service that will make them come back again to the shop. Self motivated and I'm a very innovative person who like to bring new ideas within a team.

Great experience given

I have learned a lot from the company I am currently working in. I learned how to look at the garment, from measuring to checking any changes that were made to a garment and also if the construction made for the garment has been followed by the pattern. The relationship I have with my colleagues is very good because we help each other with day to day challenges.

Good learning industry

It great experience working at a big company leading retail.learning more on how to work with people how to create a healthy environment always bring great customer service , customers are verry important..ive once granted an opportunity to be an acting supervisor at a naartjie store that was the most greatest experience i've had in life whereas ihave to make my own decision dealing with angry customer solve customer problems have to be always calm because the customer is always right.

Excellent customer service

It was an exciting journey working with different customers every day seing them leaving the store happy and can't wait to come back to the store again to receive the best customer service from me again having that kind of relationship with your customers it kept me going every day
