Best platform for growth and learning
Trasnent NPA has varsity body knowledge which us useful to a self starter. Proper documenation and risk management material that provides proper guidance. I have been exposed to Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management and Health and Safety aspects.l was afforded the ability to work with incredible management abd operation staff. It is true an experience l would treasure. Working in Marine industry has been a phenominal. Working at Transent gave me an edge to persue more on Risk Management space. Cultural diversity caught my attention as well, as it gave me an awakening call to seek and understand cultural dynamics in the region.

Excellent learning experience
I am currently working as a chief Admin dealing with customer from day to day. I interact with different people and comes up with solution to solve conflicts that arises on a daily basis especially in dealing with customers queries. I am working with a great team members and willing to help each other whenever there are tasks not completed. when there are conflicts among us we resolved them and put measures to avoid those conflicts from happening again. Happy employees makes happy customers, and what I learnt is that hard work pays at the end the more effort you put to your work the more proud you become and be passionate about what you do. The challenges that I often deals with in daily basis is when we don't deliver on time to our customers and being able to convince a customer as what causes the delays. Most of the time you must have Resilience in order for you face any challenges that comes your way. I take pride in my work and go extra-mile for any task given.
Pros: Able to acquire new skills and adapt to change, being fexible and willingness to go an extramile.

Great experience
To work at Transnet its a great experience because I learn to communicate with a lot of people during my shift eg :manager, supervisors, machine drivers and department of planning by communicate with all them my job runs smooth and I meet target very easily, challenges that I face is to have breakdown with the machines that I'm running with because i can't meet my target

My experience working as Training & HR Manager at Transnet Port Terminals
My current work environment is highly unionized, and it requires that one be abreast of recent developments, in the Employment Relations landscape, and the whole HR fraternity. With this in mind, one is able to craft strategies including labour leadership and even engaging employees in matters that will affect them directly and indirectly. I have acted as the HR manager for both business units, and it did not come easy, but consulting levels above my current grade as well conducting research on challenges facing the business, has been the best method ever. Excellent Learning Curve
As Quality Manager for three different programme that have more than five packages, each day I need to ensure all the daily activities are completed without any deviation from the client specification. Stakeholder engagement is critical to ensure alignment with all the project team. - Lesson learnt through all my involvement is: 1. communication is the key element in project execution. 2. Control measures should be monitored and reviewed at all times 3. Supplier evaluation is critical (that is to ensure good/reliable products/service from suppliers) 4. Record management is key (evidence in case of dispute) What I enjoyed most was do engage with all disciplines (e.g. Civils, Eletrical, Mechanical, suppliers...etc,) The most challenging aspect of my job was travelling (My projects where situated in all provinces).

I am a young woman who is motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic and have good Communication skills, Secretary Skills, Interpersonal skills, Organizational skills, Computer skills, credit controlling skills and administrative skills. I can able to express myself in both in English and IsiZulu and have a good customer care service, and I have 2 years’ of experience working in the administrative environment at Transnet in Durban . Excellent learning
Provide information to customers in a contact centre. Gather and provide relevant information to contribute to contact centre problem solving. Handle a range of customer complaints in contact centre. Access and use information from texts. Work with a range of petterns and functions and solve problems. Write/present for a defined context. Collect and record information queries and requests from customers.

Learning Opportunity
On daily basis I work with inventory management, I manage a group of +20 employees. Daily production and logistics meeting are held and as well as management review meetings. Local committee is held on monthly basis with all managers and union representatives. There are challenges like material stock out for production which must be expedited. I work very well with the whole team.

I did cranes, welding, machine repaires and instalation and repairs.
I did my apprenticeship at transnet from 2015-2018, as i was the first to trade test in my group i am a very fast learner, energetic, and work very well under pressure with a to do attitude. Given a chance to prove my self i would apply all my skills and knowlege, where by i did maintanace, repairs, basic welding, PLC, fault finding etc. Looking forward from hearing from you.
