My duties in my current job includes creating purchase requisition, orders, doing good receipt. Handling petty cash. Contracts management, reporting, budgeting, cost center management, assets verification. All this done using the SAP system

Delegation experience

Position challenges Train service disruptions. introduction of new technology. Life threatening conditions created by criminal elements. Failure of communication apparatus and use of alternative. I was doing Diesel electrical fitter
I was doing a learnership at Transnet Fright Rail doing diesel electrical fitter for a year.50%was theory and also 50% was a practical.I was working 8 hours working with a team It was challenging becouse it my first time to work at the workshop but i did enjoy it because i learn a lot with that field like using diffend tools ,handling tool and also electrical tool

Great learning curve
Working for transnet was great and they have lots of opportunities for growing as an employee. They have a good charter culture. Safety is their number 1 priority

My Railway signalling report
I have 7 years experience as a railway signalling Technician, i currently work for Transnet Freight rail at vereeniging depot. part of my job is to perform the following tasks: faultfinding, Maintenance, installations and commissioning on all railway signalling equipment. on a daily basis I have to interact with external clients and customers and that the part I enjoy the most about my job. I am currently in the process of registering with ECSA as a Pr- technician

Training and development
my typical work day is managing development status of the employees in the company and coordinating training. I manage bursaries and and coordinate talent conferences and do assessment reiviews of high potential leading employees. I also make sure talent is kept in the company by coaching and mentoring those who need coaching to perform their daily duties. my relationship with my colleagues is good. we work well together and we are well trained in interpesonal skills. i have over the years of working in this company that success is earned and patience is a virtue. i have also learn that no one is responsible for my development but my success is in my hands. I enjoy interacting with with my peers and and colleagues and sharing inspirational information and knowledge through social interactions and team buildings. The most challenging aspects of my job is not getting enough support from management when one needs resources to use to execute daily outputs.

Complex job outputs
I am a more problem solving person, who likes challenges and deadlines. I enjoy working in a team were flow of ideas is a norm and still be able to be in control of one duties.
