Timrite Reviews

Timrite is a growing company with very interresting dynamics involved

Timrite is a blue collar environment and this means the provision of one's service ranges from translating polices so that the majority of employees can understand policies to sitting in meetings with Exco advising about Labour Legislation. so this entails the ability to interact with a wide range of people- this ability bui.ds strong working relationships as trust is harnessed. i have learnt how to operate in a blue collar environment which is completely different from the corperate environment that i had been exposed to for over 6 years. i enjoy the ability to interact with employees from all grades. wage negotiations are challenging from time to time.

Pros: exposure to a different environment
Cons: travelling across 11 national branches

Excellent learning curve

- I have a good relationship with every worker - The most challenging part is to be the only lady among man and man environment having to give instructions to older male people - I have learned that prioritization is a key to meet target and complete work especially in a busy environment as such - I have learned to write reports, communicate well, supervise and - I enjoy the planning, transformation of parts into a finished product, interaction with customers and the supply - A typical work day for me is a slow day as i enjoy busy and noisy environment

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours
