Hard worker
am sales consultant , my job is increase revenue for our shareholder and make our customer happy. Am peoples person , easy to connect and people, good listener , always expecting and willing to learn and help. my relationship and my Co-workers is good , they cant stay a day without me.always keep them laughing. I have learn that in life nothing come for free, everything need time and dedication. I enjoy meeting new people and making sure customers leave my office with a smile. The most challenging thing about my job is when client leave my office with a sad face.

Skill growth
Reporting on regulatory process and SARB requirements. FICA on companies, individual, trust, Funds And PEP with sanction. Team work is mostly required and communication for growth and knowledge. Multitasking important as you work with queries telephonically and on email.

Sales
- Support Sales consultant in terms of concluding deals - Assist client's with customer services queries - Draw up agreements - Upload deals onto the system - Do weekly reports - Draw up action plans with sales consultant I have learned patience, understanding and working well under pressure. I have a good understanding of my team members, i wam always willing to assist wherever i can. I enjoy dealing with the customers, understanding different client's and their needs on a professional level. There are challenges, we always have to depend on other departments for final conclusion of the deals. There are delays which we always have to deal with.

Excellent Learning Curve
I'm looking for a challenging work and more than willing to be in a new environment for development.I have worked for standard bank as a Customer Service Consultant for 4years full and therefore gained experience in the industry,that is where my skills were fully utilised.. Dealing with hard clients and managing to resolve customer enquiries helped me develop the passion of working with clients.
Pros: Great opportunity to liaise with clients.

Great opportunity to learn traditional marketing
The overall scope required one to managed multiple portfolios, which required strong planning and project management skills. Team work is also vital not only from a point picking each others brains for creative ideas, but also as a support base should you need help in a particular portfolio or an event for that portfolio. A good relationship with business is also very key in terms of establishing trust, which includes showing understanding for their clients and product offering. The greatest challenge is ensuring that delivery for all your key portfolios is met and executed on time.

Cons: The red tape sometimes resulted in us missing an opportunity in the market to a competitor

Challenging and exciting
I have learned a lot working for standard bank. In the past I actually convinced myself that i am not good working with numbers but working for standard bank changed it, balancing my till everyday is always a miracle as we all say, its a nerve racking process because you can either be be on a surplus or deficient, which is why its crucial to be vigilant at all times. We close the branch at 3:30 every day but most days we can be at the bank till 18:00pm. Working in teams is like everyday life. My co workers are very helpful and we make sure that we meet sales target on a daily basis. The customers are different in all ages. I've learned to be patient and assertive.

Growth
I enjoy the relationship that I have with the RoA and the colleagues. Everyday its a challenge, we take each day as it comes. As a person you can only to this much because you need to look after your health as well and ensure work life balance and by stressing you won't be able to achieve the desired results. I believe as a person now and again you need a change a different atmosphere, liaise with different person and not be comfortable of were you are.

I am a hard working person e.g I start working just as a self service consultant at my company now I learnt new skills that able me to work as a transactional bank

Job satifaction
I generally experience a great job satisfaction on completed projects, and working well with all types of staff (Senior, middle, junior and all types of contractors). It's never a typical day at the office as projects differ We have a fair team work I have gained great work experience
