Career Freedom

II enjoy working for myself. There is no boss to report to, no office politics. I prefer working alone at home without any distraction from anyone. Running a business is challenging, you are responsible for the growth of your business, promoting and finding new clients.

Passion for training and developing people.

As an Independent Skills Development Officer I do freelance facilitation, assessment, moderation and consultancy to my clients. Currently I specialise more in learnership & short courses e.g. Business Admin & Entrepreneurship & Management etc. I enjoy the interaction with all my clients the most and have learnt that rendering excellent customer service is of utmost important to achieve company/personal goals for all parties involved. The most challenging aspect of my job is to meet client expectations on short notice and with limited resources. But I must admit that I enjoy it the most because it stretches my abilities & skills. Especially after client satisfaction has been achieved.

Excellent learning experience

Face to face client consultation. Immediate satisfaction with clients as it is service based. Good learning experience. Hands on position. Learn new things everyday.

Lots of experience

Working as a freelance engineer has exposed me to various fields of engineering. This has allowed me to learn much about how different entities operate in their own ways to achieve their goals. I've enjoyed being challenged with non-typical problems which forced me to think outside the box.

Great involvement with people across cultures

Interestingly how people across cultural divides learn. In our world of english, everybody speaks but their understanding vary from one person to the next . I've learnt to not take things for granted when working with people. Managing an environment to ensure enjoyment of a job function adds great value to a company & its staff.

Multiple media experience

Sitting behind the editing machine everyday I enjoy the creativity that flows from idea development to final rendering of the project and uploading to clients. Not to forget the unbelievable interactive work between myself and my colleagues and clients.
