Pros: Since i have started working for my current company, i have gained a experience is Oil, energy and petrochemical industry since im was in construction industry. I started as a junior safety proctitioner but i have worked my up to be a specialist in SHE. I now believe im in a better position to move ranks to persue a position as a manager.
Cons: I do not have much to say im not about about, however, i will like to grow as person in my career.

20+ years of production, maintenance and planning experience in Chemical Industry.
I am currently a technical officer at the Sasol Wax solidification unit which is responsible for the bagging and distribution of approximately 300 tons of wax per day. My daily routine involves the monitoring of production volumes, critical and opportunity maintenance and production planning, technical support to the production team, safety, risk and quality management. I believe that I can do anything that I set my mind to and find it invigorating to learn new things everyday. I thrive on pressure to get things done. I strongly believe in embracing new technology to improve performance.
Pros: Great potential for growth.
Cons: Getting bogged down with too much procedural and administrative duties that impededs optimal performance.

Excellent relations with coworkers
Working relationship is very good. There isn't too much pressure on the work especially if you used to the work and you have been doing it for years. I have learned to work in a team, and my leadership qualities have improved substantially.
Pros: Good working hours. The work is not too demanding.
Cons: Opportunities are limited.

Doing G.O at Oxygen Plant
Planned 7 units within a month. Coordinated all disciplines to work in harmony and arranged all material and resources required in advance. Assessed all working area to determine resources and material that would be required. Doing plant walks with stakeholders to determine actions required prior to the actual jobs. Take all lessons learned in the previous G.O to improve the next G.O.

Stability,exposure, experience
I work for the Ft wep project,part of a commissioning team,my day to day job is taking a plant from the ground to RFC,.to RFO until it is handed over to the business unit,my role as a process artisan is to ensure that I study and understand the process of the plant and procedures to safety commission in given time as safe as possible....SASOL is a great company to work for and being part of the commissioning team has given me a lot of experience since I have started 5 plants in SASOL 1 site.The reason I am looking for a job is because the project is coming to an end and I have a family now so I need something solid and stable at a running plant where I can utilize my skills and knowledge and study further to where I want to be

Excellent growth opporunity
I enjoy working for Sasol as we put our customers first.On a typical workday, I will follow my dairy attend plantmeeting,coffee sessions, disiplinary hearings, advice customers. When I am not booked , I will do my admin work or attend to the walk-inns .My mine ourpose is to providesolutiins to any hr related problems or issues.

Ive taught my self much
i enjoy my daily job . i get along very well with my co-workers in a way that we have built our relationship as a family, but most of all we don't forget that we there to work and gain more skills.most of all i enjoy working under pressure more especially given other peoples work to help the because thats learning more than what i expected.the most challenging aspects is when given a short time to finish your work .
Pros: its a great oppportunity wereby am able to work under pressure and meet the deadline before a stipulated time.
Cons: we work long hours that is 12 hours

Excellent learning and motivation
It is a good company and the environment it very effective. get along easy with co- workers was the most wonderful thing happen in our department the spirit always high and w set our own standards. I've learn more plants in the company , i was given the opportunities to learn different plant as much as i can. I've learn so much especially to work against time because of tyhe project where coming in and out after week or two weeks , i had to make sure that i set my standard high.

Quality and complex transactions;experienced expert;no prospects of promotion;low remuneration
Rendering quality legal services and advice on high value and complex transactions;drafting, reviewing complex agreements; interacting with senior executives/management;advising on transactions to ensure that the company is protected commercially and from a legal risk perspective. Remain updated with developments in the law. Excellent and professional relationship with co-workers. I never stop learning. I have been lead legal advisor in all the significant international and domestic transactions undertaken by Sasol in the past 18 years. I enjoy complex transactions; negotiating and drafting. I put my heart and soul into a transaction and make many personal sacrifices. The low remuneration relative to the hard work and sacrifices made and my experience and expertise and the lack of recognition by the company has a negative impact on my morale.
Pros: 1. Reasonably good quality of work; high-end, high value transactions (general financing;project financing; corporate and M&A transactions; 2. international and localvariety of work
Cons: 1. No prospects of promotion whatsoever; 2. remuneration and benefits not commensurate with my experience and expertise in the fields of general financing;project financing; corporate and M&A transactions; 3. low morale - arguably the most experienced and senior lawyers in this organisation with very little prospects of promotion and a remuneration and benefits package that simply does not take my experience, expertise and seniority into account.
