I am a Gentleman of aged 33 currently working for Sanlam as a senior Billing administrator, Due to the 5 years of experience I had with Sanlam Sky Finance department I think I’m the suitable candidate for this position as some of my Responsibilities is collect and allocate all monthly premiums and balance the accounts, I have obtained my grade 12 in commercial subject in 2001 and also did my international computer driver’s license in 2006, obtained my level4 of long term insurance in 2009, I then did my Accounting short course in 2013 , I manage working independently under pressure and obtain quality results

Exellent working enviroment
-We are target driven on daily basis as death claims are payed within 24 hours as long as all the requirements are met. -Relationship with co-workers is friendly as team work is encouraged and also family support is emphasized. -I have learned that working as a team is what makes the company strong and makes the companies objectives are met. -I enjoyed the company feed back sections, Team building and year end functions as well as bonuses. -The most challenging aspects of the job is when we have back log and clients starting to complain.

I love working with people as they teach you a different experience
My typical work day, would be receiving Pension Queries, clients who are mainly lost and looking for a specific place, clients who are looking for a job, clients who are looking for donations, clients who have meeting in the building, clients who are here on Training for the day at our training facilities, clients who are coming for interviews ect……. The list goes on. I have a brilliant relationship with my co- workers as we work well as a team and we rely on each other to give a satisfactory service. I have learnt to be more patient while dealing with clients and also I have learnt to put my own personal worries aside once I’m in the office. I mostly enjoy spending time with my co-worker during lunch, as it is fun to be with them. Making sure the client is satisfied with our service because making the client understand on the procedures and Policies of how the company works can really be difficult sometimes, but for me that is the most challenging part.
Pros: You get perfomance bonus if you get high KPA points

Outstanding growth curve
Working at sanlam is basically a stepping stone, as it is a very big company rather diverse. We don't only deal with Insurance but all kinds of ways of saving money for people, I don't have a problem working there but the only issue is i'm a fresher from varsity, this was my first job after varsity and I have gained the experience, I therefore need to spread my wings and fly and get a better salary. I enjoy working with people, and getting to learn new personalities each and everyday, old, young ,man and women. Socializing is quite exciting and it grows you as a person as well. T he most challenging aspect has to be my salary, i feel i deserve more then what I am getting. However I have learnt patience, persistence, consistency, and inner growth in my journey with sanlam. But I can not stay a Personal Assistant all my life, I need a challenge bigger then it. But all in all I'm grateful for the opportunity i have in Sanlam.

I believe that im excellent
A typical work day for me would be more then 100 walk in clients daily for different queries. Some are visitors for meetings, some are visitors for a personal matters, clients who are lost, clients who heard about an advert on the radio or T.V and would like to know more about it, clients who are looking for a job, students who wants Sanlam to help them with their assignments. My relationship with my co-workers is great. We all work well as a team even if we may disagree from time to time but we tent to put that behind us and carry on with our daily duties. Everyday is a learning experience for as we get different difficulties, so I learn something new everyday but the most important things that clients have taught me is to be calm n patient. I enjoy spending time with my co-workers, we have chats together when we are on a break. The most challenging aspect of my job, I would say that is making sure that customer service is delivered and the client is most satisfied after visiting Sanlam.
Pros: There is no room for promotions not unless i change the department that im in.
Cons: sometimes we dont get lunch if we are short staffed

I might not have a diploma but i have spent 15yrs in the payroll enviroment
At my current work place I am busy from the time I get to work and sit at my desk to the time I have to leave for home a day at work flies by, its such a challenging environment My team & colleagues are so helpful because everyone pushes hard to get everything done for the final pay run. I've been trained on a new HR system Employee Central removing the HR side from SAP thia has been a great challenge maintaining data and dealing with the teething problems

Experience developed through different departments
I am a professional, challenge driven and proactive individual. I pride myself in adding value at any level that I have occupied in the past. My work has throughout the years presented me with an opportunity to acquire excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. I have extensive technical knowledge of the industry and I am eager to up-skill my knowledge even further. I strongly believe in business ethics and principles, and believe that my work reflects the same. One of my goals is to add value to the company in whichever way possible. I believe that the experience acquired over the years puts me in a favourable position to apply myself diligently to any opportunity presented. Good working environment
its a friendly working environment,deliveries took time and the i have learnt to persuade customers,i enjoyed reaching my target and earning my bonus! cutting off date it was too early and reaching our monthly targets was difficult

It has offered me the chance to experience how the field of work i have chosen.
I have learnt to type much faster as it is something I am doing on daily basis. I am also working very closely with clients and potential advisers, which has taught me great people skills. The most challenging aspects of my job is the cold-calling I often entail, but I have learnt to master of art of cold-calling and I am enjoying the company vibes as everyone gets along and is friendly.
