Excellent learning curve

Mintek is a research and development company, i work 8 hours a day. shift work is conducted during plant run. my relationship with my co-workers is good. i have learn so much that before the metallurgical plant they are some test work that is being conducted in-order to design the plant and to improve the recovery of the plant. i enjoy being involve in a project of some kind. the challenge that i have was on the crush plant cause i didn't know how to operate it but now i'm good

DEDICATED, WILLING, ORAGNISED

I am an honest, motivated, responsible, creative and organized person. Further to this, I am able to work in a group and attain objectives through a committee work. I have the ability to structure my own work in attaining objectives and meeting deadlines. Amongst other attributes I have the ability to learn technology easily e.g. computer programs. I am also a fast learner and willing to learn new things at all times

Good environment that taught me a lot that i know now.

Great place for people eager to learn, including funding for gaining a qualification, there are a lot of benefits for wellness and health matters, with an internal primary and occupational clinic, lots of sports centres and bar.

My skills and ambitions

I am currently working as a SHEQ officer for MINTEK Hydrometallurgy division for total of 8years and which 4 years I worked as a laboratory technologist. In addition to my bachelor degree in chemistry, I also have root cause analysis, risk assessment, incident investigation, integrated SHEQ auditing, ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 17025, OHSAS 18000, Safety management, Total Quality management and currently busy with SAMTRAC. All the knowledge and experience I have acquired in the last four years as SHEQ personnel, makes me a suitable candidate for your company. Other acquired skills include communication, both written and verbal, report writing, problem solving, presentation, project management, computer, interpersonal and supervisory skill. Feasibility of ideas, performances, enabling self assessment

I am very competent Warehouse Supervisor running Goods Receiving and Warehouse. I am totally independent reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and Finance Manager. I pay attention to details and I am result orientated. I improved the system, write new SOP's, implementing improvement on SAP and workflow, uplift service level by drilling my inventory KPI's as to achieve best service for my clients. Great environment to learn for young graduates and for career development.

Research in the lab experimenting effective and innovative ways of processing metals. Relationship is fairly casual and vibrant. I learnt to maintain a positive attitude even during tough times and handle work pressure well. I enjoy the kind of problems we solve every day and the challenges that comes with it, company culture and organisation's diversity. What's challenging is meeting a client’s requirements with little information in research to achieve a goal not knowing what to expect

Qualified fitter and turner

Presently, I am employed by the MINTEK a global leader in mineral and matallurgical innovation as a Fitter and Turner at Engineering and Maintenance Sevices (EMS) Machine Shop. Previously, I was working for the Department of correctional Services Workshop steel Section as a Fitter and Turner. I also works for Insamcor (PTY) LTD as Semi-Skilled fitter and Turner. I also worked as Learner for Diesel motor mechanic in the Mercedes Benz Commercial Vehicle.
