medipost pharmacy Reviews

Good first time employer for school leavers & pharmacist graduates but not for experienced people.

This is a good first time employer for a person who has just finished Grade 12 or graduated as a pharmacist. Once you've had a couple of years of experience in the real world, you will find it extremely difficult to fit in with their culture. Their managerial policies, business practices & work procedures are unprofessional, ineffective and barely legal. They spend a month on induction to convince you otherwise. It's basically a privately owned mom-and-pop store attempting to expand its market reach, but unfortunately the mentality and incompetence of their shareholders and by extension their BoD is not quite capable of delivering on their marketing department's wishes or promises. Favoritism, nepotism, harassment (sexual and other) and discrimination is the norm of managerial practice you’ll find here. There is no such thing as anonymity, so do not lodge complaints, because you'll very quickly find yourself being harshly disciplined.

Pros: Good first time employer for school leavers & pharmacist graduates
Cons: Favoritism and nepotism, unprofessional and discriminatory conduct by management, harassment and persecution (sexual, religious, marital status, race), unsanitary bathroom and kitchen facilities

I've learned a lot working at Medipost Pharmacy, how to be a team player.

I've learned to be a team player and work well under pressure. I've learning that working with angry n inpatient patience can be stressful and tiring, but you have to learn to be patient and be a problem solver. Think on your feet to find a solution to the problem. Be punctual, respectful to ur colleagues and senior. Do your job to the best of your ability.

Pros: Be problem solver, punctuality, team player, meet targets
Cons: These no growth andusometimes you work on weekends and you miss a lot of family time and functions.
