Assistant Project Co-ordinator for local government elections
An extremely pressurized environment, good team work, lots of administration tactics and proper filing of employee files and documents, extensive knowledge of staff training and recruitment. i acquired the best project co-ordinations skills, proper planning and organization skills . Time management skills is the most essential aspect in project co-ordination. Report writing also a per-requisite. The most challenging aspect is the lack of proper resources to work in order to meet deadlines e.g sharing of computers, cars , scanners etc. However the organization gives extensive training to staff which is very informative more specifically about the South African election legislation.
Pros: I acquired lots of training experience and exposure to municipalities and local goverment operations
Cons: Extremely long working hours in order to meet deadlines which at times led to exhaustion

I think i am a suitable candidate for the position as i had enough experience.
My day to day was to do office administration and doing interventions with the communities.Teaching the communities about the importance of demorcracy and voting education.The relationship with the co-workers was very good.The reporting line was excellent.I have learned the following things;communication skill,facilitation skill,filing,conflict resolution and many more.The most enjoying part of the my duty was to facilitate the employees.The most challenging aspects was to hold meetings with the political parties as some of them do not understand the election legislations.The other most challenging aspects was the election in itself as people come to the voting stations even if they were not on the voter's roll and expect to cast their vote.
Pros: My job was so clinical to an extent that i was earning bonus almost every fortnight.
Cons: I have no problem of working long hours as am passionate about my job.

Excellent project management skills
I've been working for the Electoral Commission for the past five years on a contract basis, with no prospects of a permanent position, in detail we run elections, from the logistics part, recruiting of electoral staff to work in elections, training them, administration, filling contracts, taking minutes in meetings, troubleshooting at voting stations, dealing with procurement of tents, and catering.
Pros: It teaches one to be more focused, plan ahead and teaches one the importance of delivering good customer service

Learning experience
I am an unemployed graduate. I only had a contract job from January to April 2019 at the Independent Electoral Commission. During the 4 months period I learned to work with the public and build public relations. Communication is key and this job helped me to implement my studies, understanding communities and communicate effectively. Marketing the purpose and brand of the IEC

Willing to learn it's an advantage to be multi skill
I am a reliable ,honest and hardworking male of a neat appearance and sober habits,I enjoy meeting new people and eager to learn new skills and techniques .I believe that by working,learning and achieving ,you can reach your goals and be successful in whatever you attempt .

Good experience
I only work when the are elections. I had a good experience because it was something I have never done before.I worked well with my colleagues and we shared our duties.I have learnt how voting process goes and what is prepared before that. I enenjoyed the feeling of helping people out and making them understand the importance of voting. I did not like working so many hours and that was challenging for me.

Looking for better opportunities to make an impact
i have learned a lot working with the IEC. Working and managing 17 area mangers and their staff members in their teams was a great learning experience. I learned that I am a very patient person, always willing to assist where I could. I learned I work well under pressure. I am a great team player and I learn very quick. During the election period I enjoyed the buzz and the pressure I found myself in. Having to deal with different characters showed me I can thrice in a ny environment. The working hours were also very abnormal to say the least, this was a bit challenging for me though I did get used to it at the end.

Great experience working with people
Learning new things and having new challenges everyday. It assists to have a great relationship with co workers because you understand each other better and know your strengths and weaknesses. I have learnt that you never grow old to learn. I enjoy challenges and learning new strategies.
