Devotion in learning and keen to new challenges

i have started as an ordinary security officer but not with the current employer, then i have been employed as a CCTV controller by the company i am with it now, and after acquiring driver's license code 10, i have given an opportunity to work as a shuttle bus driver to transport stuff around their various employment places in the premises. if i am not on the shuttle bus, i am riding on a quad bike doing security patrols around the premises. nonetheless security employment i have been in different firms but as a casual worker like during my schooling days i worked as a truck helper at coca cola in Witbank and also worked at Tshwane mail center as a mail sorter even though i was working under agent. irrespective of the enjoyment i get from my current shuttle bus driving job, the challenge is the little payment i receive at at the end of the month and as a result of this led me to be on the look out for a better paying job than the one i am in now as i have two children to look after.

Pros: security sector is one of the under-paying industry, even managers are not paid enough
Cons: it is 24 hours service, we also work on holidays and weekends

Hard working in what i do

i loved working with my team if there where a incident i can call anyone and they are always there to help sort out the problem. they have become like my own children and my door is always open to hear and if i can help with what was bothering them. the most challenge thing and i think that is for all of us is that we put in the hours and the hard work and to come to month end and have a pay query. i always try my best to sort that out for my staff.

Pros: i learned a lot and gane a lot of experience.

Excellent opportunity

A typical day starts at 18:00 and might end at 10:00 the following morning. We work very long shifts with no overtime allocated. I have learned to be a team player and to work well under pressure I have learned to work without supervision

I am someone who is a hard worker, learn fast and can work under minimum supervision.

As i am working at hotel and conference center we sometimes have big conferences like ANC for e.g and i have to make sure that everything is under control all the time as i will be visiting the conference rooms/venues and after conference like at night i also have to make sure that there's no noise around the perimeter and everyone is behaving and monitor that there's no drinking in a parking area or misbehaving in the rooms. My relationship with co-workers is to socialising giving each other advises about life and work related issues. I have learned how important to know all languages so that you can be able to communicate with other people I enjoy helping people.

Excellent learning experience

A typical working day: Payroll only performs with deadlines. As Fidelity is a still growing company, there was high expectations set for our Team. Meeting deadlines on a daily basis is essential. Work Relationships with Co-workers : As an employee you spend most of your life at work, with the deadlines a lot of overtime was put in to ensure the work gets done. Our Team was very supportive and considerate. What I have learned : That a person do not live to work but work to live. You need to adore what you do. What I enjoyed : The fulfillment of meeting our Team's deadlines the hard work to meet our goals and to ensure that our employees gets paid.
