Installation of HDPE, Concrete&PVC pipes and constructuion of underground structure/facilities
I am a passionate Mechanical Engineering Technician from Tshwane University of Technology currently working for Esor construction Kusile Power Station, who is willing to be part of a dynamic company like yours. It is always been a dream of mine to engage myself in this field and such an environment. I’m a hard working individual who is prepared to work hard towards the opportunity that I might be given at company. I pride myself on and have developed my Interpersonal skills while I enjoy taking the initiative, I believe that I am also a good team member willing to learn any new programs and obtain experience in this field. I would also make a productive contribution to an organisation such as yours as I did on my previous companies . I learn alot i got more experience they trained me i enjoy working as a team as I'm a team leader now but what I'm not happy with they don't pay for your skills.

Excellent learning curve
My workplace I is always a busy place Since the is pressure that we get from the client to finish up, we often work extra hours in order to accelerate as the client required. There is good communication between co-workers, those in higher and lower management. Which makes it a reliable place to learn if you are still new in the industry.I have been in three different sites of this company and have learnt a lot. From measurement of daily quantities, calculating daily costing, updating daily register, updating daily diaries, carrying out quality control inspections for pipelines, road earthworks and asphalt, controlling asphalt spread rates and reinforced concrete inspections and placing site data according to drawing locations and data capturing and administration. I enjoyed the quality control work most.Regardless of the fact that it has too much pressure.

Good experienced company
Ive been working for ESOR since 2011 until today. Ive been involved in lot of projects where we made billions in short period of time without any injuries or death of people. I make sure we all adhere all health and safety regulations and we meet target of the day before end of the shift. Im working under pipe jacking department where we always working in confined space and should make sure i do right things all the time. i make sure every employee is on time with full PPE. I make sure we remove hazards on our working environment and valid documents are filled in before and after shift

Still need improvement in investing in their employees and opportunities
No growth, and the company need to empower their employees and motivate them. Employ qualified personnel for management position....and to also train appointed personel on what is required of them

It was a excellent learning curve during my inservice training
My responsibilities was to ensure that concrete works are done as per specifications and plan. I was responsible to check if materials used on site are of acceptable quality. I was responsible to check if proper quality procedures are followed on site.

Learning curve
I have learn to work with different people, cultures,was responsible for safety file including subcontractors. I have been doing audit, tool box talk, investigation of incident, hazard identification on site overall making sure that site is hazard free and monthly states including induction for everyone on site, responsible for Ppe issuing.
