I am currently working for EOH as a Service Desk Agent. I have been working in Customer Service for the past five years, with a range of activities and responsibilities, all in which I have acquired skills and talents. My C.V. outlines them comprehensively. I am aptly qualified in the practical/technical domain & in applying my expertise to the environment. I am confident with my organizational, planning, co–ordination, administrative and time management abilities and skills. I am an exceptional communicator with a love for people and interaction. Dynamic, energetic, very expressive and direct in my communication and approach. I pride myself with the fact that I pay particular care to detail and execute my tasks very diligently. I’m a go getter and self-starter, with a desire for self-development, however this was previously reserved for the technical environment, but I now realize that it needs to be extended to theory as well.

Great company, little or no growth, Salary not competative

I am currently working at EOH as a field service engineer supporting SASSA and Department of justice amongst other contracts currently held by my company. I support about 10-15 sites both hardware and software, connnection type both wired and wireless. I enjoy the the differnt challenges each day brings pushing me to the limits to learn more and working by myself forcing me to rely on my experience to solve problems Due to enviroment i meet different people ona daily basis and enjoy building relationships. I am self managed and understand the concept of SLA and deadlines.

Pros: Stable company
Cons: Bad salary, no incentive, bonus or 13th cheque

I am a team player. Excellent communication skills and very skillful and enjoys new challenges. I am hard worker and a people's person. Can talk to me about anything I am a good listener and a great leader

Excellent learning curve

Strong learning curve. EOH was a great platform where I was able to use my skills to make an impact i was able to see with my own eyes. I took everyday as a new chapter to learn new things, a good relationship i had with my fellow colleagues. I've learnt to get along with different people with different cultures, to share my views and to listen to other people's views. I enjoyed having lunch with my colleagues every fridays. The most challenging aspects was not to be able to assist the client and to transfer the call to senior engineers

Technical support growth

I'm a self-motivated professional young person. I am currently based at the Clients regional offices where we provide support to users throughout KZN, I attend to about 6 calls per day. I also resolve calls remotely using SCCM to deploy and connect to user PCS. Monitor over 80 sites on EOS and assist in diagnosing network issues faced and the affected sites and provide on site support to two offices of 405 users combined in Pietermaritzburg. Maintain, repair and install new printers. I enjoy assisting users and meeting new errors and challenges on the field it makes me a better technician. I also assist districts technicians with onsite support

Pros: Meet a lot of new challenges and deal with a wide spread of technical support, there is constant growth.
Cons: The position is not permanent

Excellent working curve

Liaising with external EOH is a ood company by skinsupplier(First Time Fix) calls for users and resolve them immediately. Providing support on VOIP (IP phones) Asset Management

Good learning experience

N/A . This company has changed a lot since being in the news with all the corruption, would prefer being out of this company sooner than later as this is not an environment to be in. They are working good employees out of the company.
