It is very good and interesting

I Zimkhitha Maceba working at the company of Edcon made me strong and believe in myself . Because if you are not used to work with money temptations come and they can destroy your life. I follow my schedule without complaining because I love what I am doing. My managers knows my strong point that I am focused and love working with money. I learnt a lot when I started working at Edgars because I never work before, so everything was new to my eyes. So I learn how to take care of a customer which is customer service, housekeeping, replenishing, banking, counting the float, using back and front office and consultation or einquiry. I used to panic when they were introducing something new because I never heard it before. But I am very quick to learn.

Pros: I am willing to do my best in the job and get a promotions by working hard.
Cons: I am also willing to work overtime

A great company to work for

I worked for Edgars for 8years with Excellent people around, values, cultures and working environment. Its the best company to work for, I have learned everything about customer service, driving targets and leardership from Edgars since they hired me with no work experience at all.

Pros: an excellent working environment
Cons: normal working hours for people with life after work

Excellent

Working in the company was a good thing because I manage to learn some of staff I didn't know and I really adored my job because it was a job which I was dreaming about all along the time.Become Financial Specialist of Edcon was a great thing but was working in Edgar's ,looking good job which made me to love adore people because is about to make the company grows.So I believe that I was tough in the first time but know is easy as "ABC",insurance they are in the company was good ,checking how are the clients account because you may found out that someone is paying for an insurance which he/she did you want,so I heard to check what happened and who enrolled it then give cash back of all premium that he/she has being paying all along the months

Pros: Great Opportunity to working with a Clients
Cons: Not long working hours but can work long hours just to insure my work is done

Personal development and growth

interaction with different kinds of customers getting to meet and work with new people, I've learned to complete tasks on record time and I enjoyed knowing that you can be able to make it easier for customers to get everything they need hassle free,The most challenging yet exciting espects of the job is making sure the customers are always satisfied with the service

Excellent at Customer service

I am flexible worker. Good at supervising and work well independent also with team. I like to take control over my work. Always make sure my work is up to date. Like to learn about other departments work to brodden my knowledge. I'm a friendly person, always get allong with people I work with. Don't get tired to give help where is needed. It gives me a great pleasure when my colegues rely on me. That shows i am doing good at my work. I am a good listener and give advice where i can.

Pros: Sales advisor, attend to customer quiries, good listener.

Taught the skill of being confident with dealing with customer needs

I have a pleasant working environment because on a typical day we worked as a teem to assist all customers that would enter the store and if a customer could not be assisted by one, a tag team system would apply that upheld the guidelines of the company even when we had difficult customers

Good place to work at.

Performing customer service through out the day is the best thing I love about my job,because u get to make people feel better and be happy,because at end of the day they leave the shop with a smile,in retail thats where you get crazy co-workers that always make your day shorter,I learn alot in edgars,more on how to react on angry customer,how to make customers feel special at all time,more importantly we strive for excellence.
