Excellent learning curve

Edcon employs a large number of people. My role is centralised and also requires lot of travelling. I further put additional hours to get the job done.

Identify current and future customers requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service reguirements, secure merchandise by implementing security system and measures, protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment, drive sales and motivate staff to reach and exceed targets and report week and monthly feedback to Area manager and head office

Current and previous experience

My current position allows me to have very sifferent and challenging day on a daoly basis. I am solving various problem across different prkjects. I am interacting with various people on a face to face vasis , telephonic or meeting which akso are telephonic or on a social level. I am scheduling sessions, sometine chairing, sometimes minuting and sometimes doing a workshop for information and other times getying updates on project toolset and registers. Obtaining project updates weekly to combine for review with team and consolidating Snr Project status report fir srakeholders Ensuring correct trmplates are used, following up on registers on the project.

Cons: Not enough leadership and proper communication

Good company bad managers

Edcon its a good company to work for but the management they don't follow procedures its bad for company they just react without knowing what must be done before u take a serious action on the employee

Best at customer care

It's the best place to learn about how you deal with customers everyday .In this work work space younger dealing with customers face to face everyday so remember body language says a lot to the customer .
