Worked as a student

I worked as a student whereby it started with prioritizing my work for the each day. My main function was to manage the job seekers database for the sub council. In addition I managed a satellite office taking responsibility for all general administrative duties and office tasks such as: health and safety, stock controlling and supervising a cleaner. All correspondents from the office or to the office came pass me via email. My colleagues communicated with me via email or telephone. Challenging part of my day was facing a different rude community member on a weekly bases. Best part is handling those challenges with respect and abiding the rules and regulations of the company

Pros: meeting all my deadlines
Cons: long hours in trafic

Easy Learner

I am an in possession of a Senior Certificate which was obtained in 2002. I have National Diploma in Biomedical Technology. I am currently worked as Contractor admin Clerk for City of Cape Town in Civic Centre. I am doing admin task such as following: I have worked as a Medical Technician from 2010 until 2014. I also had a part time job as an Admin Assistant. I do possess strong leadership skills, communication skills, conflict management skills and assertiveness. I am fully computer literate and competent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. I am willing to acquire new skills and will give my outmost best to add value to the company.

Excellent learning and most place of my experience using SAP

I started at this company 1994 and resign 2005 thinking of opening business then came back to the City 2009 as contract then 2010 I became permanent because of my experience and trying the of what ever duty I perform and the company do benefit because where as I am maintenance assistance but I am doing administrative duties which I don't get paid for but because I like to work it is fine for me.

Excellent Growing Curve

Currently my job entitles to capturing feedback and raising charges. I am currently employed at the City of Cape Town's Non Payments department, disconnecting and reconnecting properties. I create orders to have properties disconnected as well as reconnected, I also create orders to have maintenance done on the water meters that has been found defective. After the operational teams has completed the work onsite, I get the job orders and capture the work and raise charges where necessary. I also deal with stuff from other department in regard to reconnection and disconnection queries. When consumers phone in I dealt with those queries by assisting too the best off my abilities. The part of the job was very educational and I enjoyed doing it as you learn to communicate with different type of people and with different types off personalities.

Cons: No proffessional growth within department

Excelent working enviroment

client services, data capturing, fax, email, filing and other admin duties. We had a very friendly working environment. I have learnt to communicate in different level. The most challenging times is dealing with difficult clients

Fast learner with no advancement potential looking for a new challenge

Clock in at 06:45am and read my emails of the previous day and make note of any important work that needs to be completed by the end of business day. Check the orders that needs to be placed and do the filing of the previous day. I'm a very bubbly and optimistic person and get along very well with all my co-workers. I love the work that I do as I get to interact with a lot of people, external and internal and I have learned a lot on SAP since I've started working for the City of Cape Town. The most challenging aspect is that I do not have any advancement prospects within the City and they won't pay for my studies as it's not within my line of work.

Pros: Only one is that it's offers job security
Cons: No prospect of advancement or growth within the Company

Good

I have relevant work experience and am a graduate in the field of Public Relations Management with that being said i have a Diploma in PR, I did communication Science, Media and Public Relations Management as Major Modules at School, I also am working in the communication section at the City of Cape Town as the Internal Communication Officer, therefore I believe I will be the best candidate for this job, since I possess all the necessary qualification to perform my duties in effective and efficient manner.
