Daily

I do the daily admin duties in a Medical Lab environment and do the lab admin and the Pathologist admin. I have a great relationship with all my piers, managers and Pathologist. I have learned compassion for people. I enjoy most to work with and between people. The most challenging part of my work is assisting with medical samples.

Moulded into a Professional

Dear Sir/Madam, My position is very demanding and stressful, in the medical industry the is no room for error. You do everything right the first time. Mornings I handle queries from patients and handle my emails queries from internal and external clients. There after I do collections, the full debtors function(edits ,corrections & submissions to medical aids). Staff at my organisation are more like family, as they ever willing to asist. I'm currently working for Ampath for 13years , Its been extremely tough but I have grown mature personally and professionally I enjoy helping people and putting a smile on customers faces. This encourages loyalty to the organisation. The saddest part of my job today you could speak to a patient and the following week they would have succumbed to their illness. .

Experiencial

I am hard working young man, willing to learn and have good communication skills. I have passion for laboratory and willing to travel. I am oriented, persistent, and punctual. I have team spirit and able to share information. I am confident with my problems solving, analytical and decision making. My current company is good for training but no individual growth as most senior position are based on race and abnormal wotking hours day and night rotation shifts.

Cons: no promotion or salary increases for black workers

Excellent learning curve

It's a nice company to work for if delivered, able to work independently, as this prevents conflicts and argument s in the company, what I enjoy the most is providing good quality service as fast as possible , giving the good image of the company by bring representable and most of all helping out wherever I am able to anytime.

Very motivated person, strong team player and management skills. Excellent trainer.

Manage a department, with schedules, budgeds, overtime, material management and review of SOP. I also do the technical training of theory and instrumentation of staff members and students.

Leadership skills,excellent on time management

I have been a nurse over 6 years I was rewarded an award by discovery as one of the best 4 nurses in SA in 2016 went to the USA. I take pride in what I do.do . I always try to get it done the first time to save time and give patients the best service. If I don't know something I always ask II'm currently working as a nurse phlebotomy at AmpAmpath. I love having conversationconversations with my patients just to relieve their anxiety. I balance the stock monthly and order Phone Dr's with abnormal results so that they notify patient immediately.

Good learning experience

Nice company to work for. Long hours, work lots of weekends.nice overtime.friendly people.very busy.interesting to work with samples.get a better understanding what happens to the blood after it has been drawn and how it is tested and why the different tubes.

Excellent learning and training area.

Quality Assurance and quality control on test methods, equipment, reagents and chemicals. Writing of SOPs and WIs, receiving, updating them and make sure they aknowledged by staff. Health and Safety Which includes investigating injury on duty, correct use and disposal of infectious material and chemical waste and General lab hygiene. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving skills. I enjoy the trouble shooting side of my job. I find working in team challenging. One has to have patience. I train new staff and re- trainning. Do root cause Analysis, as well as corrective/ preventative action.

Excellent experience

I have enjoyed my days here my colleagues are motivators and different age group makes it fun everyday. I know everything in my unit I have trained most of my colleagues . We have our moments sometimes but we try to give each other space. We have teachers;comedians and speakers and quite ones but we compliment each other. The is never a dull moment in Banking that is our unit. During month end it become so busy that sometimes we work so hard and never speak to each other for the day but we get through the day to achieve the target.
