I have been working for ABSA for Nine years.
My Company is a greate Company to work for although it has its challenges like any other company. I have leant how to work with people and how to chace targets and meet dead lines. One of the most challenging things in my job is targets we have very high targets that can not be easly met but, but one has to make strategies in meeting those targets.
Pros: Its a greate company to work for, because it looks after its employees in a very possitive way.
Cons: The cons of working for my company is targets.

I have learned a lot about different people and different things
Every day is a different challenge we meet new people on a daily basis which we have to help and understand their banking needs and solution them as best as possible. We get bonus or rather incentives depending on how well the branch has performed,we have daily sales targets that we must reach every department has its own targets. My typical day would be meeting a client greeting and assisting with a transaction that a client requires at that time count money from or for the client and ask what else i can help with the its farewell then another client same thing. My colleagues are such good people of course everyone has their off days but its not all bad ,we have a good working relationship i always try to get along with everyone and avoid any conflicts because it will affect my work. Working here has been such a great experience i have grown so much personally and work wise i learned so many things even about myself.
Pros: We get trained to deliver nothing but excellence to our customers
Cons: we don't get paid overtime during the week and we always leave after hours during month end

Excellent learning curve
It was a very exciting and challenging job.i was in a credit card division,I have delt with everything that has to do with credit card,such as increasing and decreasing the limit,tracing replacement and tracing new cards.list is endless for my day to day duties.Relationship with my co-workers was good and professional.i have learn to work under pressure and also to work as team.The relationship I had with clients was amazing,communicating with clients I enjoy doing that.challenging part was receiving call after call with out catching a breath.

Excellent curve
I am good listener who understand the good work ethics . I also have a good relationship with my current co-workers and I work from 08:00 to 16:30 per day however sometimes I work more than that.
Pros: Not yet and that's why I am looking for outside better opportunities.

It was an awesome learning experience
At the moment I am currently unemployed,but I quiet enjoyed the time I worked at Absa as that was my first meaningful job.I learnt alot in that company because it enabled me to gain skills I did not have previously such as face to face selling and customer interaction and how to identify potetial markets that can be added within the company.
