Good learning curve

I am an Underwriter, my daily activities include: Providing quotations for diferrent brokers Renewal preperations Taking corrective measurers and remedial actions if need be Daily endorsement and related activities. I t is not a very easy task as it involve abiding by the service levels agreements, striving for excellent service, at the same time I enjoy my work as it is not a routine - each task needs a certain thought different than yesterday thus keeps one on his towes in terms of being up to date with the market segment. It is an enjoyable job as one is sarrounded by colleagues who share same values thus of assistance in many cases. It is a job that challenges one to be not complacent as a result I have enrolled with Milpark school of business in order to be more useful in any work environment I find myself in.

A beneficial experience

I work in the finance department as a graduate/junior accountant. I'm part of a great team within the department. They have stretched me mentally and broaden my horizons. Working in the team has been very beneficial for me. I faced a few challenges in the beginning but came out the other side unscathed and wiser. They taught me the importance of being a team player.

Be the best claims handler and treating customer fairly and with respect

I am a hard working young female and work very wel with the team as I get to learn to learn more from them and they do the same to me. I have a good relationship with my co-workers and willing to help out anytime they need help, team player. I have a learned a lot from my company working with customers and how to treat customers. I enjoy seeing clients happy. the most challenging aspect is when the claim not gets paid out and also difficult clients who do not understand the policy.

Pros: Pro-Advantages in getting to engage with clients and pay valid claims and seeing customers happy as they pay premiums.
Cons: Cons-Dealing with difficult clients who refused to listen to you and take what you tell them and give them advise.

Leaning curve

very busy department We do not have a good relationship as co-workers Learned to do my specific work nothing more The most challenging thing is not being able to do other things and having to take calls from rude brokers.
